Lotesska

The youngest daughter of the last noble house of the elven clan Eight-star. Lotesska is a druid, and identifies with the Rabbit. Her first druidic circle was that of the Land, Forest.

Like her other sisters, Lotesska fled her clanhome and was lost for many years. She tells her story to the party of adventurers who rescued her from the prison of a cursed magical collar:

I can. And please, my friends, there is nothing to forgive. This [doppelganger] body is a cold, wicked thing, though if I am in my right mind I should be able to tame it. So. A storytelling. I will try to keep this brief, though I can run on if given half a chance. In any case. As I said before, I was born Lotesska, of the noble house of Clan Eight-star. [My sisters and I] fled when the clan stronghold fell, the last of the noble house left. Realizing it would not be safe to travel together, we parted ways. Nareka said she would seek out Clan Moonstone, our closest ally. Viresska was going to attempt to reach the Astral Plane. And I decided I would travel north, in pursuit of a rumor that some of our clanfolk had survived an ambush attack not far from here, and had started a new community of our kin. I never found out the truth of that rumor. I felt the disturbance, the creeping of the Shadowfell, and I followed it to its source. I found this grove. In trying to stop the spillover from the rift, I ... was killed. [A mad druid named] Matthias found my body and attempted to reincarnate me. Whether it was his will, or the influence of the Shadowfell, the magic produced this body. And before I had much of a chance to reorient my spirit to life again, let alone this body, Matthias slapped that cursed collar on me. I could not think even as much as a baby. I had no magic, no voice, even my beast shape was gone. All I had was this doppelganger body, which I tried to shape into my beast form. You saw the limitations.

Lotesska decided to seek help to reclaim her original elvish body, and spent time with Vivane, the Lady of the Lake, known for her ability to heal. When this was successful and Lotesska returned to her family and clanhome, she also chose a new druidic circle, the fey influenced Circle of Dreams. She has remained in the clanhome, using her druidic skills to restore the lands to health and productivity.
