Hariwana Trépanier
An elven woman, the last known survivor of Clan Silvermere. She is a deathlock, undead but without any magical powers after the death of her patron, the archfey Garthonel.
Hariwana's story, in her own words:
Hariwana's story: "I was one of the elite warriors of Clan Silvermere. Our position in those days of peace was largely ceremonial, but we trained well and were diligent. When the Starbinders came, we were outnumbered and being overrun. Garthonel came to me, and offered me a pact of power to help defend our clan and home. I was desperate, and did not see his nature or his treachery. I used the power he gave me, but it was not enough. In the last battle, as the last of our clansmen were falling all around me, Garthonel revealed himself and the trap he had laid for me. I renounced him and our pact, but when I was slain, he brought me back in the form you now see. For many decades I served him and his foul and bitter ends, my mind and my will broken in death, as it is with most of my kind. But as time passed, my mind returned to me, and I, along with some few others, fought him. We failed. He imprisoned us, intending to use what remained of us to feed his renewal. Or simply amuse him by our torment. When you slew him for the last time, we were free to let go of this existence. All the others did. But I .... as I said, I am too afraid to answer for my foolishness, my cowardice and all that I did while under his sway. I do not know what to do."
