Corfinium

The southernmost large town of the West Kingdoms; it lies on the west coast of the main continent of Keradrin. The other West Kingdoms lie to the north and northwest; the Forest of Arduvei lies to the east; the Inland Gulf and westernmost Avalon lie to the south and southeast.

Corfinium is largely a trading hub, with a major north-south road running adjacent to the town, and a large port that serves both trade, passengers, and fishing.

In recent history Corfinium has struggled with rogue slave traders passing near the town; at least one of these organizations, which had principally served a small illithid colony within the borders of the Forest of Arduvei, a day's ride east of the town.  A group of adventurers recently destroyed the illithid colony and also broke up the slavers ring, sending its few survivors to Corfinium for justice.

One of the best known taverns within the town is called The Puzzled Dog.
