Arteagagarey

Arteagagarey is an archfey and also a scholar, and at one time was a blood hunter of the Order of the Lycan. At some point, he took up the study of demonology -- whether his desire for power led him to this study, or whether the study sparked the desire for power, it is hard to know. His studies prompted him to focus on Yeenoghu, the demon lord of gnolls, and one fateful day, Arteagagarey summoned the demon prince. This event was documented in a poem:
The archfey Artea, in the heart of his court, called forth the demon lord. ‘See how I have bound you, princeling, yet my request is a simple one. Share with me the secret of your power, and I will release you.’ The demon lord was wroth at the insult, yet also amused — For he saw how he might have revenge and serve his own dark ends. ‘I shall do as you ask, fey prince, and more. I shall tell you my secret, And I will gift you that very quality, for it is what makes me strong.’ The archfey Artea agreed, and as the binding circle opened, His heart was consumed with bloodlust, undying and insatiable. ‘That is my secret, little fey thing,’ Yeenoghu said, ‘Enjoy and use it well.’ And as Artea turned to his court and slew them where they stood, The demon laughed, fading back to the Abyss. His laughter and last words hung in the air with the death screams, ‘I shall have my eye on you.’
