Arash Rabuka

Young adult, human male. He was born into the royal house of Sappho, though as a younger son stood little chance of actually taking the throne of that city-state.  For much of his young adulthood he was content to live the life of a pampered aristocrat, indulging in a temper which could be far swifter than his wits.   After being engaged, sight unseen, to the heiress of Astana, one of the North Kingdoms, Arash went on to what was in effect an extended sulk, taking out his discontent on just about everyone around him.  An unfortunate incident at the Sable Ribbon in Sappho resulted in a harsh rebuke (including being indefinitely banned from the establishment) and humiliation by a group of experienced adventurers.   The journey to Astana gave Arash a fair opportunity to reconsider his behavior, and he entered the home of his bride determined to do his duty and maintain the honor of his family back home. Once he actually met and got to know the Princess Arrabella, he swiftly fell in love with her, and this became additional motivation to become the nobleman he was born to be in all senses of the word.   When Arrabella's father died and Arrabella became Queen, Arash threw himself into the role of Prince Consort with loyalty and enthusiasm.  When trouble began brewing, as his wife became ill and her courtiers were struck down, he worked with both the Queen and her remaining courtiers and advisers to carefully uncover the plots against her and set things right.  He has been happy to accept the help of a group of young adventurers who have proven themselves trustworthy.
