Tempest Maelstrom Citadel
Tempest Maelstrom Citadel
“The winds roar, the seas rage, and the heavens themselves bend to your command. In this citadel of storms, lightning judges all who stand before you.” The Tempest Maelstrom Citadel is a Domain of unrelenting storm. Thunder shakes the ground, gales shred through defenses, and lightning strikes wherever you will it. To step into this Domain is to stand trial before a storm-god’s judgment.Thundering Mandate
At 3rd level, you call the storm to strike through your hand. When you use your Domain Strike, the attack deals lightning damage, and the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed 10 feet and knocked prone as thunderous force bursts outward. In addition, when you use your Manifest Domain, it takes the form of the Tempest Maelstrom Citadel, a howling storm of thunder and lightning. While your Manifest Domain is active:Eye of the Storm
At 7th level, your aura shelters allies in calm even as the storm rages outward. While your Aura of Territory is active, allies within the aura cannot be pushed or knocked prone against their will. In addition, when an enemy within your Aura starts its turn, you can choose to buffet it with wind. The enemy takes thunder damage equal to your proficiency bonus unless it succeeds on a Strength saving throw against your Domain save DC.Storm’s Wrath
At 15th level, your fury becomes the storm’s fury. When you take damage from a creature within your Domain, you can use your reaction to summon a bolt of lightning. The attacker must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take lightning damage equal to two rolls of your Domain Strike die. You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.World-Breaking Tempest
At 20th level, you unleash your full power: a storm that shatters the world itself. When you use your Exalted Domain, it expands into the World-Breaking Tempest, a 60-foot radius of thunderous gale and searing lightning. The area is heavily obscured with rain and wind, counts as difficult terrain for enemies, and prevents creatures of your choice from flying. While this Domain is active, you and your allies inside are immune to lightning and thunder damage, and your weapon attacks deal an additional 1d8 lightning damage.
