You conjure a burst of concentrated moonlight and hurl it at a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack. On a hit, the target takes 2d8 radiant damage. If the target is an undead or a shapechanger, it takes an additional 1d8 radiant damage. At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 1st.
