Infinite Web Labyrinth

Infinite Web Labyrinth

The Infinite Web Labyrinth is a Domain of entanglement and paranoia. Foes who struggle only bind themselves tighter, while allies move with the confidence of those guided by unseen strands. To step into this Domain is to fight a battle already lost, for the web has claimed every path.

Webbed Mandate

At 3rd level, your strikes carry the binding force of your Domain.   When you use your Domain Strike, the attack deals necrotic damage, and the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained until the start of your next turn.   In addition, when you use your Manifest Domain, it takes the form of the Infinite Web Labyrinth, a sprawling network of spectral silk. While your Manifest Domain is active:
  • The area within 20 feet of you is difficult terrain for enemies.
  • When an enemy in the Domain moves more than 10 feet on its turn, it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take necrotic damage equal to your Charisma modifier.
  • You and your allies within the Domain ignore movement restrictions caused by webs, difficult terrain, or magical restraints.
  •

    Tangling Threads

At 7th level, your webbed aura entangles foes who draw too near.   While your Aura of Territory is active, enemies that end their turn in the aura must succeed on a Strength saving throw or have their speed reduced to 0 until the start of their next turn.   In addition, whenever you or an ally within your Aura is missed by a melee attack, you can cause the attacker to stumble into your strands. The attacker takes necrotic damage equal to your proficiency bonus.

    Predator’s Patience

At 15th level, your Domain punishes rash movements with ruthless precision.   When a creature within your Domain takes the Dash action or teleports, you can use your reaction to lash out with spectral threads. The creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained and take necrotic damage equal to two rolls of your Domain Strike die.   You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

    World-Threaded Prison

At 20th level, your Domain becomes an inescapable lattice of silk and shadow.   When you use your Exalted Domain, it expands into the World-Threaded Prison, a 60-foot radius three-dimensional web of spectral strands. The entire area is difficult terrain for enemies, and creatures of your choice treat the ground as if under the effects of the web spell (without requiring concentration). While this Domain is active, you and your allies inside have advantage on attack rolls against restrained creatures, and your weapon attacks deal an additional 1d8 necrotic damage.   At initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), choose two of the following effects:
  • Constriction. Choose one enemy in the Domain. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained and take 2d8 necrotic damage.
  • Thread Snare. Choose a 20-foot square in the Domain. That area becomes webbed until the next initiative count 20. Enemies that start their turn there must succeed on a Strength saving throw or have their speed reduced to 0.
  • Hunter’s Pull. Choose one enemy in the Domain. Threads yank it up to 15 feet toward you. If it ends adjacent to you, you can immediately make one melee weapon attack against it.
