Aengreid demands the Mirugaeri engage in battles to the death in order to amuse him. The gladiator match-ups carry on at his pleasure and whim throughout the remainder of the Age.
The Mirugaeri, evolving from base servitude, attempt to overthrow Aengreid themselves. Aengreid wreaks horrific vengeance upon his slaves for the attempt, earning greater animosity and resentment from his subjects.
A group of Enchanters stage an uprising and try to cause a coup. Defeated by Aengreid, the remaining Enchanters find themselves facing his wrath and hundreds of innocents executed in retaliation.
Following their defeat in the Mirugaeri Revolution, several of the leaders set out on an expedition with their followers away from Kendaira to escape his tyranny. Enraged, Aengreid's paranoia increased as he murdered thousands who he believed involved.
Several Enchanters within Aengreid's inner circle attempt to assassinate him but are defeated. Each of the Enchanters are brutally executed, and Aengreid blocks out all but the most integral of his advisers.
The Mirugaeri rise up in revolt again, this time casting down Aengreid's governors in Leordimul and Aeldron. This revolt is also crushed, but adds to Aengreid's mounting paranoia as he begins a sweep to round up potential threats across his entire Empire.
Discovering the dangers of Aengreid's creation, 13 enchanters banded together to forge a blade with which to counter-balance the might of the Igna Talisa.
With the Daelgar Lych created, the 13 enchanters approached the Mirugaeri and requested their aid with slaying Aengreid. Graelden Oerkaen agrees to become their warrior to do battle with the Mirugaeri's master, in order to release his people from servitude.
Aengreid and Graelden met in battle, and Graelden managed to cast down his people's oppressor. After more than 210 years of tyranny, Aengreid is slain. Mortally wounded, Graelden requests assistance to preserve his life.
