Myrmacht Veirbdi
The Core of Immanika Power
Original Discovery
In the Menobis Aeon, Aengreid Vorsnar discovered that magic in its raw essence - Myrmacht - gathered in a mist when exposed to the air along the many ley lines tracing the whole of Kendaira. He followed one to the base of the Maivos Mountains and delved deep into the ground. Upon uncovering a vein of Myrmacht in the caves beneath the mountains, the resin-like magic stone was broken and exploded in a powerful mist. One of his assistants was absorbed into the mists and malformed through an incomplete transformation.Creating the Ignis Talisa
Aengreid then forged the Ignis Talisa with precise magical manipulations in order to compose a tool that could harness greater magical energy than an Enchanter could normally. First he carefully formed the blade of the sword from Myrmacht resin, providing it a core of with metal from a meteorite - Starsteel, also known as Estraelaes. With the main part of the blade formed, he then needed to join it with a living creature in order to harness its life essence (according to his the thought of the day, the less developed a soul trapped used, the less likely it would resist his commands). With this in mind, he sought out an innocent child - Orgreid, a child who was only ever eager to please - to use as his sacrifice. Heating the blade to the point of shattering, he plunged it deep into her heart. Her blood instantly cooled the metal as her essence was captured, sealing the Myrmacht power and her soul within the blade.Creating the Myrrugaeri
With the Ignis Talisa forged, Aengreid could much easier manipulate the Myrmacht to his will. He could now bend and twist the mists to his will, defining the shape the mists would take as he desired. Having succeeded in creating a tool by which he could manipulate magic, he undertook the next step in his research: creating life. He gathered cadavers and used their flesh to feed the mists to provide their form. However, to give life he needed blood as well. He captured more innocents and encapsulated their souls within the mists as he formed the shape of the bodies. However, upon completing his project, he realized that his efforts would only create magic-less people - a happy accident, as he then changed his focus to creating magic-less people to be his servants - the Myrrugaeri, the Magic-less Slaves.Creating the Daelgar Lych
During the Myrrugaeri War that led to the rise of the Aengreid Empire, 13 enchanters banded together to create a blade to combat the Ignis Talisa. After a Graelden Oerkaen, a Myrrugaeri close to Aengreid's inner circle, stole the method of its creation, they replicated the process and managed to create the Daelgar Lych - named for its twisted and ugly appearance. The most powerful Enchanter offered himself to be the sacrifice to quench the blade's heat, and his soul was entrapped within the blade. Graelden Oerkaen was then given the blade to defeat Aengreid, and in the battle at Orgreid's Tomb the Mad Emperor Aengreid was slain. However, the Enchanter's soul within the blade seized control of Graelden after the battle in order to seal the entrance and trap the mortally wounded Graelden within the Tomb. Infuriated and filled with hate, Graelden requenched the blade within himself, claiming his life and being absorbed within the Daelgar Lych, trapping his soul within the blade and superseding the Enchanter's.Creating Daemorgs
Much as the swords were created, Graelden Oerkaen discovered in his second incarnation within the body of Jaekon Meinhart that he could create an army of creatures to do his bidding and be his servants. These creatures became known as the Daemorgs, and included Voelgre Ghasts , Ghaents, Gaerbins, and Draekons.Creating Nevumorgs
In addition to creating creatures of flesh and blood, monsters of shadow can also be created that are used in temporary capacities - i.e. for traveling and quick destruction. Flesh is not required for this magic, as it is a creature of mists that has temporary form and will fade within a period of time. However, conjuring this way requires more attention and drains more energy.

Applied Restriction
Upon learning of Aengreid's experiments, the ruling council of magic users, the Triumvirate of Enchantment, ruled that the use of life essence to manipulate magic was forbidden and named it Immanika (Forbidden Taking). Any who use this power are to be executed, a ruling that has been used in more recent years by those afraid of the corrupted people (Ishkerred)
