Mail has become quite the bonding experience between me and my neighbors. We all hear the little bell ring and go to inspect who it's from and who it's for. Gives me the chance to chit chat and catch up on any important gossip. A Delightful Contraption
If you peered into the tree canopy of Tokensaturn City you may notice a few small, wooden contraptions hanging from lines connecting the trees to each other. These carts carry the mail of Tokensaturn via an unusual combination of pulleys and levers. This service is free, and is generally used by busy or lazy skee who wish to send items or gifts without actually seeing their mother.Pleasant Surprises
To send an object, one can wait for a cart to arrive at their tree, or go to the carter's office and send any available cart from there by selecting which tree you would like to send it to. The panel is quite complicated, but somehow sets up the pulley system on the right course. To most skee it feels a little bit like magic. Once a cart arrives at a tree, it triggers a bell installed in each skee's home. Fwiletof was never able to design a more precise system, and so the carts still signal all the skees who live in one tree. Skees can then go investigate what goodies are in the cart and for whom. Once the cart has been emptied, a skee can send a new item on its way or send the cart back to the carter's office.I suspect people enjoy the novelty more than the convenience. It is still too difficult to access a cart, and I can't seem to get a more precise bell system to work without tearing down the whole thing. Pesky Birds
Originally, the carts were uncovered for easy access, but it did not take long to discover that this was merely easy access for birds, who could easily hitch a ride on the slow moving carts and take what they wished. After an unfortunate mishap where a young skee decided to take a ride in a mail cart and was taken by a hawk, Fwiletof rebuilt the carts to be covered. There are still, of course, young skee who love the thrill of riding on top of the carts regardless of danger.Frankly, I don't know why anyone bothers. It's just as quick for me to pop by my friend's home to drop something off as it is to wait around for one of the ugly things.-Frustrated skee
Wof Thofu Fwiletof
The mail lines were designed by Wof Thofu Fwiletof in 1189. He was a brown skee with a white-tipped tail, and wanted to create something that would keep him from having to walk through the market frequently so he could spend more time on his inventions. Ironically, the mail line became his only and most passionate work. He spent nearly his entire life working to make the system run smoother.I was skeptical when that odd fellow came by my home to install a small bell, but I still remember not a day later when that little silver bell chimed above my head and me and my neighbors all climbed to the top of our tree and saw the basket of fruits hanging in front of us. It even had a little note that said, "Pardon the bother, I hope you enjoy these!"-Anonymous skee on the first day they received mail

This is so adorable and a great interpretation of the prompt. I like that the bell signals all the Skee in the tree and they all go to investigate. Made me smile. :D
