Voren-Kaa

The ocean is going to consume all. Distressed, the world serpent Voren-kaa stirs. She feels a weakening of her power, a sapping of her energy. She felt something similar long ago...and retreated to her core to recover. She has been regaining her strength, but something has changed. She must awaken soon, and find a way to learn what is happening to her mother. Her awakening does not bode well for the surface dwellers upon her waves. The sheer movement of her massive bulk starts to create massive tidal waves, monsoons, and even worse...patches in the everpresent cloud cover. The deadly sun burns the wooden cities that float upon the waves. It scars the denizens caught unawares. It boils the oceans, killing the life underneath.
