Lord Harring
Lord Harring was the young lord of Harringate in the south of the old region of Vienar. Loyal to Lord Klaid of Nurem, Lord Harring inherited his title at a young age after his father fell during the Great War.
Much of his reign went as unchallenged as the kingdom faded away. With three loyal knights and an armed peasantry, he managed to dissaude any pillagers and raiders.
However, the centaur threat in the winter of 1245 was nearly the end of Harringate. Fortunately, the intervention of the party by their 'recruitment' of Libertian troops at Castle Saffron defeated the attackers. Lord Harring, feeling indebted to his new friends, threw a party in honour of the victory - during which he granted them a parcel of his land and named Balin the Baron of the Reach.
The party did not see much more of Lord Harring as they became wrapped up in General Tradd's order (which developed into the conspiracy of Nurem), but the general would see to the young lord as the group failed to exact his task.
Harringate was put to the sword and burned as General Tradd's army marched through. The party would later venture through Harringate, where they would find Lord Harring's grave alongside his wife and son.
