Great Bay Theatre

Nurem's only major theatre, the Great Bay, is a fairly small affair. Performances take place outdoors beneath a large, covered stage. Though audiences (who haven't paid for the luxury of a viewing box) are exposed to the elements, the popularity of the theatre as a means of entertainment has long meant that the commonfolk are more than willing to brave a bit of rain for a stellar performance. The theatre is located in the Common District, and Lord Straus is a frequent visitor to the establishment, which he funds almost entirely alone.   In addition to the city's local troupe, the nobles with personal interest in the arts are known to sponsor foreign performers, primarily from Libertia, to pay the city a visit.
