Etharsberg

A city on the river Olga that until 1229 was known as Wasserberg, it was renamed Etharsberg in honour of the popular (and now deceased) King Ethar I. Etharsberg has long been known as ‘the River City’. It is typically shrouded in mist from where the dry Flatlands meets the region surrounding the large Oderinge Lake. The River Olga gives life to Pallas and serves as an important form of transport. Etharsberg is a common stop for river boats travelling between the north of Pallas and the cities on the coast.   The war and the turmoil since its end has not been kind to Etharsberg. The city was burned by the Libertian force that would eventually corner Ethar in the final, fatal battle of the war. It has since been divided in a bloody ongoing gang war between criminals taking advantage of a lawless world, surviving soldiers inspired by bitterness and the need to survive and nobles who just want their land back.   The Stormsjager are rumoured to have a presence in Etharsberg, as are an increasing number of disturbing monsters and rumours of an evil lurking below the ruins...
