Krytisc

Basic Information

Anatomy

The most 'alien' of all of the dominant races, the Krytisc are non-communicative, psionically potent, shapeshifting consumers spreading across the galaxy. Each of the Krytisc's cells possesses the ability to change shape and color at will. Krytisc often imitate the forms of the creatures they encounter and consume, possessing minor abilities to communicate when they do. Despite this, the aliens have never spoken about what they desire, instead only speaking to imitate the form they have taken. The true form and purpose of the Krytisc is unknown. What is known, however, is that they are psionically more powerful than almost any creature in the galaxy and form a hive mind among themselves. That, and that they are nearly impossible to kill or find.

Genetics and Reproduction

Krytisc reproduce only through consuming biomass and producing another Krytisc through binary division (often with one of the Krytisc taking the form of the biomass consumed).

Civilization and Culture

History

Recently found due to their primary habitat on other planets being subterranean and suboceanic, the Krytisc have little history and interaction with the other races other than consuming them.
