The Candle of the Deep Ones
Legends tell that once the entirety of the wick of this ancient blue-black candle engraved with forgotten characters a dreadful monstrosity of the depths will come to destroy whatever settlement it is in. No one actually knows exactly how it works or if it does anything at all however very few are brave or foolish or enough to find out.
