The Dannamore is a place for all kinds of learning and has educated some of the best architects, politicians, and warriors known to Allegran history. Despite having skilled individuals at their disposal, it became desirable to have their own cadre of experts on-hand beyond what was always available among the local citizenry. Leaders were either approached with an offer or voted into their roles by the aging generation of founding members and the Dannamore became mainly known as a school by the time the massive main schoolground and campus opened in 3781 NC.

Within a few years there was a reasonable curriculum proposed and adopted to begin training individuals that would represent the Dannamore as more than a school or a tower, but as an ideological beacon that wants to lead Allegrans to a better future. The first class of potential students had incredibly few restrictions and there were numerous accidents that resulted in property damage, injuries, and even a couple of deaths. Despite this, the city government never officially stepped in and the number of student applicants kept rising.

The training itself has remained essentially the same over the centuries, updating their lessons as old theories are dismissed or embraced, proven and built upon by the teachers and researchers within the very institute they were learning at! It was a novel concept at the time and changed many social norms within the city. The Dannamore staff maintain a dignified distance from their pupils, to various extents based on the individual teachers however they never socialize casually unless it pertains to their studies.
