Archdevil of Gluttony

The Archdevil of the Circle of Gluttony—currently Geryon—is given the title of "Belphegor". One of Belphegor's chief responsibilities is his Circle's role as the last circle a soul travels through before entering the realms of the Trifecta of "Mortal Sins": Circle of Greed, Circle of Wrath, and the Circle of Pride. It is thus Belphegor's responsibility to ensure a soul has been sufficiently corrupted before passing into the Circles that are most likely to sentence one to eternal damnation.
