Enciel Bird feather
The Enciel bird is the real world equivalent of a Peacock in Kalimba. It is native to the western region of Kalimba and its feathers are popular amongst nobles for their rarity. The Enciel bird only shows these feathers during mating rituals where the males attempt to court females. Outside of this ritual, the feathers are a dull grey, only changing color when a female joins in duet with the male’s mating call.
