Oracledust
Oracledust is known in some capacity through most of the developed world, be it in a positive light or a negative one. It is said to have great power about it, and is said to bestow great power to those who ingest it, such as superior strength, senses, telepathy, and the ability to speak to gods and spirits.
However, some have called its supposed mystical power into question, and actual practitioners of magic have examined its properties over the years. If there is some mystical element to it, it is either too ethereal or too faint for magicians and alchemists to detect, with the current limitations of magic that can be used. There may be mystic properties to the substance, but on it’s own there's nothing magical about it. That doesn’t mean, however, that it doesn’t have its uses, good or bad.

The powder has influence over many cultures.
