Briana Charter
The constitution of Briana, the Briana Charter is a documant that holds quite a weight among the Briane.
Purpose
With the introduction of lower nobility into the higher class, the lower nobles wanted their rights to receive the same level of importance as the higher nobles. While it was originally intended to be for the lower nobles, it soon extended to the common people, with whose support the document's approval was assured. What was originally trying to protect the powers of the nobility, now serves as a shield for the people of Briana.

Legal status
This document, while it may just be paper, holds power over the kings, queens, and nobles of Briana. All the nation at least knows the document by name and all who know it acknowledge its power as supreme.
