Lord Piter Callingber and Prince Bromel Thorsten go missing as their delegations to Doomsayers Keep are ambushed
Rumours are spreading throughout the land that the Geldheim and Hadovean delegations never made it to Doomsayers Keep. The bodies of the delegation and their guards have been discovered just inside the borders of the Scared Lands of Doomsayer with 2 notable exceptions: Bromel Thorsten, the son of the King of Geldheim and Lord Piter Callingber, the Hadovean Empress-Consort. Their current whereabouts is said to be unknown. A detachment of Lord Callingbers Heavy Dragoons has marched to the ambush site of the Hadovean Delegation to investigate further while the remaining members have reached Foes Folly setting up camp near the Fox Den’s base of operations. News of multiple skirmishes involving Hadovean troops and the Pixie inhabitants of the Hadovean controlled section of Pixiewood has led many to believe that should Hadovea launch an assault on the Duchy of Moridale, then a more manageable place to stage the assault would be from the area north of Sweetwater Lake, which they would first need control of. Raven Clan and the Order of St Allards have arrived at Wydowdr Poddle to make preparation for what looks to be an increasingly likely conflict with the Duchy of Moridale. There are also report that the House of Smith has been spotted marching along the trade route south of the Obsidian Range. Further messages have been sent to Red Company from both Hadovea and Geldheim advising them of a likely request for their services coming in the near future, accompanied with the appropriate amount of coin of course. Should conflict break out with Moridale, Red Company have their own axe to grind with the Duke as well, as they uncovered it was the Duke who sponsored the recent attack on the Red Keep. They have kept this discovery, well and truly to their chest though and the Duke himself is still unsure of how much Red Company know about who was behind the Red Keep attack. There has been still been no official word from the Duke of Moridale regarding Doomsayers Keep’s demands for his surrender to authorities however from within the Duchy of Moridale, where the information available to its people is heavily controlled by the Duke, the reputation of Geldheim, Hadovea and Doomsayers is at an extremely low point. A number of residents accused of being in league with these outsider territories have been arrested over the past week.
