Overview

Decedents of the Tambaruk , the Brukaal are large crustations that live on the sea floor scavenging for food in the sand. Equipped with a hard exoskeleton that protects it from most predators and it's numerous legs allow it to easily travers the sea floor. Thanks to the great strength and mobile dieting habits, aquatic societies have domesticated many and use them as beasts of burdens creating a symbiotic relationship between them.

Natural Predators

The Brukaal do not have many natural predators thanks to their hard exoskeleton that covers there entire back. Their armor prevents most predators from getting at their vital organs and makes them to much of an effort for most of the larger creatures who could break through. The majority of there predators are creatures that live beneath the seafloor and can get at the Brukaal's exposed underside. Such creatures include Brinegullts , Trenchwyrm , and Flatmaw . Creatures like these that burrow beneath the sea floor or blend into it are the Brukaal's natural predators.

Symbiotic Relationships

Over time the Brukaal's have established many symbiotic relationships, but the most lucrative has been with aquatic societies. Aquatic inhabitants use the Brukaal for their large size and strength to help move supplies and other heavy objects and in exchange they provide the Brukaal with safety from the natural Predators but clearing safe paths and helping keep their exoskeleton free of debris and parasitic creatures,
