This short, polished brass rod is 1 foot long, with a spherical cage of fine wire mesh at its top. There is a single button right below the cage. While holding the rod, as an action you can press the button; the rod then amplifies your voice so that it is cleary audible out to a range of 120 ft. You must keep hold of the rod to continue amplifying your voice.If you use the rod to amplify your voice while you sing, you can add your proficiency bonus to any ability check you make to perform. You also have advantage on such checks. If you sing a love song, you add double your proficiency bonus
