So after the war lord lorladon disappeared, but how did he disappear as a hunted man? his noteriarty meant this was hard. who would have gained from his knowledge. “we can talk more later for tea”   > The red falchion sword gets de attached from my hand for the first time in three months as i entered the place, but i touched it again as i left so it reattached itself >   Mowbray touched buckets armor asked if he would protect Scribes, bucket said “yes” and she cast a spell on the armor. Bucket did not think he made a deal, but apparantly did   we left afterwards.   Void could not see anything new about the armor with detect magic   We go through the list of everyone missing in the earlier incident arnini   scribes have a list of the missing people, no connection between the jury member and the missing people   Arnini had connection to lorladon by kidnapping Coty’s mom   Scribes were sold to de Mowbray after being made, but forcibly released from her service after the war. Scribes does not see Mowbray as family

Hanging on the frontside of the tablecloth is a symbol of a beautiful anvil, embroided in a strong silvery color in the shape of the symbol of Moradin There is an anvil that is alive on the alter. The walls behind is covered in different weapons that seems practical for war, yet well decorated. covered in ruby and eyecathing alloy’s. there are some unlit candles in the room that ignite as we arrive. they emit a long aroma of spice and beer. >   We roll for stealth, but sylword is very clanky   we hear a laboured breath coming from the sleeping quarters. there is a dwarf laying in the cot. beside him there are two bodies. they seem dead. a female dwarf and a female human. they seem like the assassins that was spotted earlier. Seem to have bandaged themselves and no open wounds that we can see on the injured dwarf   in the room that they are laying there are signs of struggle, hence the injuries.   this place is sylword’s place of learning,   we cast zone of thruth and hold person on that dwarf in the cot   who do you work for

Sylword throws a bottle of rum at the guy, “pour some of this on those wounds so they dont get infected, you bastard”   “dont you think i havnt done that already you pointed ear leaf lover”   coty is up for it   he drinks six bottles, but starts getting drunk   the assassins asked for his help, and when they wanted to leave and go back he stopped them from leaving   he owed them a favor, the favor was payed so didnt want them to go. much to repent for, and considers this the right thing. the dwarf seems to have killed the assassins.   they were the mountain’s men   sylword and the dwarf gets into a fight  

sylword was chased out because they wanted to kill him

The mountain’s men are going to attempt to rescue lorladons men   The mountains wanted to recruit sylword, but to prevent it he threw sylword out  

sylword doesnt believe it

The mountains men were going to try to rescue lorladon   There are fewer now after Rockwater’s death that can enact the plan  

we did that, he approves of this by sylword

The Ashen Custodians have taken over the mountains men   it was a fine day when i finished this master work pointing at buckets armor   man is called Hubric Longbrew   we heal him   he starts to forge immediatly upon getting better   He does not seem to be worried that they might return   “let moradin decide if you’re too much of a coward then”   “come find me when you need to know more…”   We use word of recall to return to veilheart   sylword takes a moment to reflect on the plaque in Veilheart

Trial duties

  in the morning, the empress wishes to give coty a gift, she is locked up in veilheart   Sylword will use summon celestial to enact the emperors will. the summon is a living portent   we spread a rumour that the emperor will come   one of the other jury member dont want to die so void takes over his place   also messages of peace as a counter to the violence to balance it out   the path of hill is not trying to calm things down   transport for coty, mamon and leepal with sylword   transport of lorladon is done by scribes and bucket, and void after a coin toss   void takes the form of a fifth path of hill guard for lorladon   2 guards take form with lorladon, and Gillian Clover have sent 5 paladins to help in the transport. theylook piraty  

they seem laid back and untrustworthy

they are there on direct orders to make sure it goes as predicted and expected

The jury gets to the court first, a few checkpoints, it goes as expected   The witnesses are being escorted by two well armed and experienced path of hill cops. they seem a bit antsy. coty takes vanguard

Sylword asks what she just did, but she deflects and flees with sylword in tow

Escort of lorladon

  bucket takes vanguard with paladins   we transport lorladon in a prison escort car, sturdy, thick iron wood. it seems to be partly alive   lorladon is held aloft by magic, no senses, cannot move, cannot see, restrained. three paladins in front, two behind, two path of hills on the side   we come upon a crowd that has gathered. they are wearing the sun symbol of the emperor. they are an angry mob, “where is the emperor? anyone from the true path? anyone not on the right path must be dealt with”   the crowd starts gathering upon the wagon as bucket speeds up a bit

void gets ontop of the wagon and scribes polymorph him to a large spider

intimidating the crowd

a smokebomb gets thrown

the guards manage to clear 2 of the attackers, the remaining two try to take off the

commanding bastion to do a quick liftoff to shake the wagon another attacker falls off

void as a spider uses spiderweb to web the attacker down to Bastions back

Scribe uses dimension door to transport her and lorladon to the court after the wagon getting attacked

the people in the wagon dont know this

lorladon is staying in the air

i park up the wagon as a defendable wall against the mob   we get lorladon inside   Bastion stays outside with the paladins so bucket will know if something goes wrong  

The trial

  the witnesses can not hear anything happening inside the courtroom unless we tell hear something through the telepathic bond

Sylword gives the opening statements  

Hello everyone, i am soninor sylword the frying knight, guardian of the clovers and the leader of the path of horns.

i will present the truths i have discovered

Lorladon has done many things in life

we will provide several witnesses and physical evidence to convince of of his crimes

please listen and be open minded to what we have to say, as i have as of late. i dare you to be insightful

Sylword requests former lord lorladon to take the witness box   the other guard that was next to the jury earlier continues on to leepal   Void uses a static field on them both dealing 31 psychic damage, and they both fall down   Bucket uses zone of truth on the witness stand on lorladon   we get 10 questions   sylword uses command: confess on lorladon. the defence bush cast counter spell, that scribes counter counter spells   Lorladon admits to it being his bag of holding   Scribe turns the bag of holding upside down getting the dead body out   there is outcry that the evidence is planted   Void goes into the zone of truth and proclaims it not to be planted, which is accepted by the judge   Did you conspire with the mountain   why would I conspire against the mountain, He was weak   >Did you cause the war on tritonia on purpose
