IRL-session: Dreamland, trial planning and meeting Demobrey

Meeting the prosecutor

Void’s skin is grey’ish or transluscent, long wavy hair that is always shifting, loinarf

bucket smashes the bed and makes a club

the butler comes in

bucket is convinced to follow along, “nigthmare”

We go through sparsly decorated hallway, we exit the building intto the courtyard. Lorladon is outside, the butler says “they are ready for today’s training”  

Lorladon “coty, ice, remember what i said”

There is a small fire elemental waving around in the courtyard, halfling sized   Bucket HP: 9

void casts a air thing

Bucket uses earth wall and makes a small earth wall shield in front of the party to block line of sight from the fire elemental

the fire elemental casta fire thing and we do a dex save, get +2 from the wall

the butler takes out his staff and whips coty with it when he tries to warn void that someone is missing, “fight”

coty uses frostbite, its very effective as the frost takes over

The fire elemental looks at coty in fear

it puffs out a area of smoke so its obscured

scribes is not used to managing her expression so she looks terrified

she tries to feel the fire in the elemental within the obscuring smoke and ove it out of the fight

it wants a connection with scribes as she reaches out

scribes lets it connect, and shee feel a firey embrace in her head

void gives us all a +10 movement boost

bucket pulls up a stalagtite spear and rushes towards the fire elemental

Nat 1

rushes past it and takes 3 fire damage

the elemental uses this opportunity to get closer to scribes/joane to hug it

Coty sees this and tries to use its ice on the ground to make it difficult terrain to prevent it from getting closer to scribes/joane

it stops 5ft away from them

it starts to crumble until its just smoke left

the smoke gets closer to coty and say “Thank you”

Scribes hear this as well

something heavy and warmth shows up in the pocket of coty, like burning coal

Lorladon claps

Good job everyone

bucket still stuck in the smoke

breakfast is served

Lorladon says “this is taking too long”

lorladon slows down time and gets over to coty

“there is something yoou should know”

about your brother and so called allies

Coty sneakily sneaks in the burning coal into the clothing into lorladon, he starts burning and then we woke up back in our own beds

 

Return from dreamland

  We meet out in the hallway, talk about dreams.   Void gets contacted by his patron, the couldnt contact void. He gets reminded about their pact  

Coty asks scribes if she has shown her the symbols and tattoos

they can turn over the disks of ice that when you turn them over there are circles and symbols of Uruthur

coty freezes the bathtub

the small frozen furry bunny reminds her “you know it wasnt real?” urluthur protected her in the dream, hence the coal thing

we gather all our burgundy capes

coty prays to Ulutiur over the capes and they all get a icy sheen to it. we feel like a fatherly warmth from the capes. Void and scribes doesnt recognise this feeling too well

 

The day after the dream

  Scribes spends most of the night trying to get the book out of the two soul magnetised sheets of metal. she is tired and has exhaustion  

coty tries to get it out

void suggests using misty step to get the book out between the metal sheets

it works, and she can finally read the book, but when the metal hits the floor bucket shows up to say that since everyone is awake

We have gotten the way to where we need to go. we hear news updats from town criers about soulds, where is the emperor? stuff about the trial, jury has been a problem since one person from it disappeared. We get the feeling that it is not the safest job in the world to be in this trial   While on the move coty feels a prick as if someone is trying to poison her. everyone quickly moves into action. Scribes use hold creature. the crowd is very thick so bucket struggles to dash towards the held creature. Coty misty steps to the creature.   It saves and escapes   We buff void and he chases after while the rest of us gathers and starts following and a human pace   void tries to sneak into their hideout   void sees the symbol of [moradin](https://www.notion.so/moradin-e7fdd29f67e64ea997af808eced28c14?pvs=21)   While we chase scribes need to do a save, [millicent demobrey](https://www.notion.so/millicent-demobrey-b268ff561ea1440ea3bd3db1a5497c80?pvs=21) contacs her and asks her to get home for tea. she answers “sorry, i am currently occupied by other matters”. “i am just asking for a short visit home, i have something you might be interested in even in your busy adventuring life”. “i will try to hurry my other matters”. “Dont go into the lions den without proper information”. “ i forgive everything, i will give you all the information you need, dearest scribes”   Bucket reminds them that we are under attack by assassins and we quickly get to void   we meet up with void, break into their hideout just as path of hill men show up   they ask us what is going on   Void “this place had bad mojo” but he has good charisma so it checks out   the guards had good mojo as well so we let them take the investigation from there   there were invicible men on top of the buildings around, and scribes told the path of hill men where she could see them as well as givimg one of them “see invicibility”    

The pre talks in the courts

we get deeper into the court. see a lot of scribes and books.   we meet up with the [Dullsworth](https://www.notion.so/Dullsworth-5f520ba9e5bc41f5863b65b9e7cd28b5?pvs=21)   we ask to get all the steps to the trial:

we mention the case about desa being a victim, but after asking desa we strike that crime from the case since she didnt want to be a witness

Squalls End

  We teleport to Squalls end

A small warforged comes to greet us   scribes call it footman-7   we follow along and get brought into some changers   sylword is wearing full armor with closed armor  

when we enter there is an announcer

we enter into this oppulent room, that is meticiously decorated to perfection. good view over towards the village. in the center is a drow wearing an elegant dress. she has an eyepatch with a red ruby. dark skin hoolding a cup  

she seems happy of our arrival

calls us aquintances

Four extra chairs pop into existence  

she gets slighted when sylword politely calls scribes for scribes not scribe-5

we dont feel trapped, but she is not to be underestimated. used to getting what she wants and she really wants scribe-5. One exit from the room   servants bring along refreshments and cookies   there is a shine in her eyepatch  

You don’t have to hide anything with this telepathic bond

it was to make our guests feel more comfortable

scribes asks of what nature this information she wanted to share with us

She tries to borrow into our minds, she asks if bucket is trustworthy.   she gets interested in coty because of the case   she doesnt succeed in borrowing into the minds of void and sylword, but wants their assurance that they are trustworthy
