Hex of Arcana

This hex can be expended as a bonus action to boost the arcane power of a spell. The energy fades quickly upon release. (gain a +1 on the next attack roll with a spell that you make before the end of your next turn).

Notes

I succeeded on performing this enchantment. Under the successful attempt I inscribed a good quality piece of frost giant rib, and had Coty the Druid channel magic into it as an arcane source, after stinging herself with a venomous and psychedelic fang I received from Desa. I theorize that the ritual would take less time if it was easier for Coty to focus through the hallucinations. A non-toxic psychedelic is likely ideal.

Side-Effects

Coty's skin became tranclucent from the effort of being the arcane source. I will have to keep an eye on her to see how the condition evolves.

Update: Her skin returned to normal after sleeping.
