Seb is playing with us now

 

 

  • The king leaves after requesting an audience
  • S and M knows where his chambers are
  • Can reach it through the Throneroom, so we head there
  • We run into Anya in the entrance, as if she's awaiting
  • She is arrogant as ever
  • The throneroom is assosiated with more primal, powerful symbols than the gods
  • Two statues of Selune, holding fire, flanks the throne
  • C finds out the water is electrecuted
  • Originstory of Tritonia, was Selunes gift of fire to the first man that washed ashore in Tidehaven (Valkur gave him to Selune?)
  • The king is waiting at the throne
  • There is a single log for each pillar, that seems to be emitting the fire pillar
  • We approach the king
  • Anya was the one that insisted on these "theatrics"
  • He thanks us, and points out that Rockwater needs to die, as well as her followers needs to be rooted out
  • S talking about how the Green Eagle soldiers seems possessed
  • S reveals that Rockwater shouted "The mountain remembers"
  • All royal branches are of the Mountains
  • The former king was of the Mountain, and this king disposed of him (?)
  • Unclear whether she could have meant the former kings former royal line, or the blackmountains etc.
  • A noble bursts into the room, shouting that he requires an audience
  • He is dragging with him a gnome
  • Lots of tools, staff, mechanical/metal stuff
  • White hair, long ears
  • Ferriz Arnini - Gnome tinkerer (Sebs PC)
  • Preference to fire
  • "He blew up my ship!"
  • Gnome insisting it wasn't on purpose
  • He wasted more that 10 000 gold, "Off with his head"
  • King asks: "What did you do now tinkerer?"
  • Offers the noble that he will be compensated, and that the gnome will be given proper punishment
  • Asks the noble to leave, but leave the gnome here
  • Apparently the gnome has been useful. Will have to owe him for this
  • Asks us to take this gnome as a new member of our group
  • Needs to have a precaution to keep him safe from the noble
  • We will get rewarded for saving Erivale twice
  • The king will knight all of us, by his own sword this time (and not knighted by the lady in his name (like M and S was))
  • He requires an oath for him
  • Knighting will mean we are his vassals
  • If he needs our help, he will ask us
  • It is up to the vassal how strong they looks at this
  • And up to the king how strict about this he is
  • It will mean we are now nobles (by blood)
  • "I promise on my faith that I will in the future, be faithful to the lord, never cause him harm, and will observe my homage to him completely against(?) all persons. In good faith and without deceit"
  • Places his sword on S's shoulder etc.: "For loyalty, for heart, for the King"
  • When he does it to M: "I look forward to your service once again"
  • For T: "A tabaxi swearing an oath is a rare thing(?)", T: "A Tritonian knighting a tabaxi, likewise"

  • Will give us some land
  • Asks his page(?) to give us any land, somewhere in the north (so that we will not be landless nobles

  • The king informs S that Arnini can be trusted, but has to be taught control, balance etc.
  • S would like to talk to the king about what happened in Bricot
  • "Apparently the war isn't over"
  • King: "The war is over, just some factions that are dissatisfied"
  • We mention that Rockwater has a songsteel vein. S thinks it is the island we found Eri at
  • Mentions that the Lady was on the island too
  • King wonders what we did so far north.
  • M mentions asking the Red Hand (?)
  • The tribesmen call themselves The First Folk
  • We go to rest
  • S talks to T privately
  • Thanks her for saving him alongside M
  • Apologises about not telling her about the interrogation
  • "You of all people should know that everyone keeps secrets"
  • Arnini talks to C
  • He's from the Academy, famous there
  • Knows the twins
  • C plans to go there tomorrow, maybe finding Orthun
  • Tries to tell her about a letter he got, with her name on it
  • It's about some missing runes
  • When he opens it to show her, the letters starts burning up
  • C hitches up her dress to show him the runes
  • Talking about how she doesn't remember anything before waking up in the ice

  • S identifying the bracelet

  • Has to attune to it
  • S asks C what she can remember
  • Smell of fresh baked bread in the morning

  • T picks it up and starts looking at it

  • C starts talking about the name of the Order

  • T brings up referring to ourselves as The Luck earlier
  • Arnini stays in C's room (sharing a bed… Arnini is Gay tho, and C does not seem interested)
  • We all get an early breakfast, except for S
  • C and A gets T  and M to join them at the academy
  • Leaves a note for S: "We Academy Now. Good luck. Coty <3" (??)
  • At the academy
  • Lots of random explosions
  • Heavy metal doors (?)
  • Lots of sounds etc.
  • As if the building itself can barely contain all the magic inside of it
  • Lots of familiars
  • A leads the way to the twins
  • In the highest towers
  • A burning gnome runs towards us yelling "The greatest power" (??)
  • Coty uses Hold Person, then Fog Cloud, then Shape Water, to put him out (Gir 1 dl vann hun kan manipulere…)
  • He starts moving in slow motion. "What are you doing? You're ruining the experiment."
  • C then casts Longstrider on him
  • The rest of us takes the time to move out of the way
  • He is going to fast, so he can't turn the corner, and goes unconscious
  • A female gnome checks on him. "Well, partially successfull"
  • The twins room is bigger on the inside
  • Maxina is waiting for us
  • She really wants to do some soul experiments based on a tome she found
  • Asks C to stand 'over there'. Warns others that we shouldn't be in the vicinity, as it was dangerous
  • A gives us some metal helmets with goggles
  • Maxina: "Just let me know if it hurts to much"
  • Does a ritual, dips her hand into C's skull
  • Slaps her, then whacks her with the tome
  • C is now remembering a bit
  • S discovers two notes slipped under the door
  • The note from Coty
  • A crude drawing of the layout of the mansion
  • Uses Sending to message M, asks how we are doing, and if he should come over to where we are
  • M answers kinda confused, but tells S to come if he wants to
  • S gets a lot of breakfast, then heads over to the academy later
  • Notices someone following him
  • A woman wearing a sailor hats
  • He starts following her instead??
  • She darts into an alley
  • S casts locate creature to find her
  • Then continues to the academy
  • Asks for directions from a random guy
  • He starts reading his palm, then directs S up to the tower we're in
  • S insight: The person was reading S's future through his palm
  • Enters right as the experiment is over
  • Maxina starts talking about everythin making sense now: 5 runes, 5 party members
  • Who is the party member with the unknown element, and what element is it?
  • S informs us of the map
  • Maxina asks us to come back for more experiments if we doesn't die
  • Asks C what she remembered
  • She got some visions about her mom and dad
  • They were wearing fine clothes, then blurry
  • Then she is talking with someone, that tells her to go gather the elements
  • Then is stops, and she's where we found her (?)
  • Recollection of another diety "Nu Wha" / "Nüwa" (alternate spelling)
  • (Mother god, that shields the human world from the god world. Using pillars of elements, stops gods form directly interfering with mortals)
  • S has heard of her
  • We take a look at the layout
  • A wall covering the area
  • Some guards at the main entrance
  • T tries the Hat of Disguise, looks like Lady Rockwater, dressed like at the banquet
  • Takes it off to avoid attention from passerbys
  • Plan:
  • C and T sneak in, prevent Rockwater from escaping
  • Windows on the first floor are borded up, so we'll both go through there
  • C is a butterfly and T will turn into Rockwater once inside
  • We will try to find Rockwater, to prevent her escape. After 10 min (?) S will send a message to T, to check if we're ready for them to start breaking in
  • No basement on the map
  • We begin
  • T is seen (only tail?), manages to distract with a thrown rock, and can get inside
  • In a bedroom that hasn't been used in a long time
  • T hears pacing in the hallway
  • C is small enough to crawl through keyholes
  • T picks a chest, find 70 gp, 20 sp
  • Then goes into the room C is trying to get her into
  • 2 chests
  • 1st full of letters
  • Many seem to be sealed, or have broken seals
  • Some correspondence between Rockwater and the Green Eagles
  • Also to dignitaries, nobels etc.
  • Shoves them into her bag
  • 2nd is trapped
  • T is paralyzed, falls to the floor, making some noise
  • C hears it, goes out of wild shape, Lesser Restoration, warns about a heavily armored guard outside, then back into Butterfly
  • Inside chest is a bony child sized hand inscription on them. One letter, and a red potion
  • Letter says: "We found the spawn" Signed "For the Lady"
  • Takes everything
  • S messages. T asks them to wait, tells them the situation. Warns that they might be working with the Lady. Ends with "Creepy child hand".
  • S has ritual cast Detect Magic, wants to circle the mansion
  • A makes him invisible with some high tech cloak
  • He then walks inside the fence, and starts circling the mansion
  • There is conjuration magic underneath the house (This one is very strong compared to the others)
  • Enchantment magic on first floor
  • Some divination from the second floor, Illusion from the same place
  • He then returns to the others
  • C is flying around the 2nd floor
  • Hunting room with suit of armour standing in it
  • Another room has a fireplace that's been recently lit
  • In another room she finds Lady Rockwater and a guard
  • Flies back to T and tries to signal
  • T manages to get past the guard
  • C is hovering over the keyhole of the door to Rockwater
  • T sees who's inside
  • T Disguise Self to look like the guy in the hallway
  • Tries to signal the others through a window…. While disguised as a guard
  • They eventually understand something is going on in the Rockwater room (maybe that T was captured)
  • The outside crew starts planning how to get in
  • Using a clockwork noise device to cause a distraction
  • They still get noticed when they're in the middle of the garden. The alarm goes up
  • S Hold Person one of the guards
  • Rockwater and guard notices the alarm, and starts running out of the room
  • C casts slow on them, Rockwater fails

 

We level up to lvl 9! ^^

 

Plan: Rush into the room, pretending to be a guard, and tell her that the intruders are in the stairs, and that it would be better to go out the balcony (?)
