• The holy wind around Zarielon, herald of Final Order picks up, and the surfaces it touches (including our clothing and armour) becomes inscribed with holy symbols of the saviour
• It seems healing related
• the wind dies down to it's normal intensity afterwards
• Void is stuck in the vision with the golem with treasure at it's feet
• He desperately wants the treasure
• The emotion emminating from the golem is material loss and loss of empathy
• It is faceless, with no features. And is being forced to protect this treasure that it ddeply cares about
• the treasure looks like personal effects
• Void uses mage hand to pick up treasure, but it's brushed away by the golem
• He sees himself in a cave with smooth unidentifiable features
• He fails the saves against both statue effects. Again.
• The Herald stretches out his wings, gathering two motes of holy wind
• they gather around two of the art pieces, turning the motes into two angels
• This frustrates E (Empusia greatly
• "No! those are mine!"
• "Now they are at peace, and ready to serve a reater cause"
• Void notices that the golem disappears from his vision
• Both angels charge at Scribes
• Bucket strikes the chain on Empusia
• He sees a gallery og equinguished guests, with E at the center
• "At last, one of my artists returns. So few come to me willingly to make an agreement"
• Bucket warns her that he is not allowed to make deals with devils, but will hear her out
• She offers to help save Erin if he lets her out
• She will get her away from the celestial, or assist in bringing down the celestial
• Bucket tries to ask for specifics about saving Erin, but E won't elaborate.
• "Don't you worry"
• "I am worried, that's why I'm asking"
• Bucket asks for thinking time, and she tries to dance with him
• He resists the charm effect, and breaks out of the vision space thingy
• However, Bucket already broke the chain before speaking to her. Now she's free without an agreement
• With the last chain broken, The Herald is looking more animalistic and vicious, and less golden and lustrous.
• The light around him is more red than golden now
• The Herald uses Heaven's Mandate
• Three vertical pillars of light appear. Hitting every ally and E
• Everyone except Bucket and Coty take dmg and become dazed
• Can only do one of either an action, a bonus action or a move action
• The attack snaps Void out of his charm effect
• He also comsumes the angry book artpiece
• He gains another face, and his intensity increases
• Scribes Misty Steps closer to the middle
• The angels start chanting, healing The Herald
• He becomes more celestial, and less monsterous
• E flies over to one of the angels and starts hurling both attacks and insults at it
• It unravels, and is dead
• A swirl of silvery smoke trails towards the material plane
• E says after it "you'll come back"
• Coty shoots a cone of Cold at The Herald, an angel and the golem statue
• The angel is frozen dead, and it's soul streams towards the material plane
• E is frustraded by this
• The statue is broken
• The remaining souls cry out
• Sylword and Bucket lose 4 spell levels
• Void is frightened, so he isn't able to move out of the light pillar
• He jumps off the platform, and is teleported to the eye platform
• He breaks out of the daze effect (but not frighten)
• Bucket flies over to the party, to Bless everyone and be within aura range of Coty
• The Herald flies towards Sylword, losing some of his luster as he does
• The further the angel souls get to the material plane, the less lusterous The Herald seems
• He strikes Sylword twice, knocking him unconcious
• Scribes breaks haste concentration, and casts Otiluke's Resilient Sphere on Erin
• It doesn't isloate her completely from the celestial, but at least dampens the connection
• The Herald becomes drastically more monsterous
• Blades appear on the edges of it's feathers, and an aura of fi
• The pillars of light disappears
• She snaps out of her daze
• E flies to Sylword's unconcious body, and speaks into his mind
• She offers to prevent his soul from leaving his body, for a small favour
• He agrees to the deal, and signs the contract
• He uses half his hit dice, but they become unavailable for an undetermined time
• She then flies to hover by Scribes
• Sylword pulls out two superior healing potions, and feeds one to Coty
• Coty casts Slow on The Herald, she then steps in front of Sylword, so that she's right next to The Herald
• Void is lethargic from Haste being dropped
• Seeing Erin being shielded with the sphere, he is no longer frightened
• Bucket steps into melee beside Coty, and hits The Herald once
• The Herald looks towards Scribes
• "She is at peace. She no longer questions. You could join her"
• It flies over to her (staying in melee with most of the party)
• It strikes her for 48 dmg (in one hit), and blinds her - Breaking her concentration
• Scribes chugs a greater healing potion, and casts Resilient Sphere again
• However, the placement is off and it targets Sylword instead
• He manages to bash it aside with his shield
• Failing to allure Scribes into making a deal, Empusia moves on to Bucket
• He wants the golden nut
• She points out that he is about to steal the two dwarves from her
• She is offering to annul their contracts, for a small favor
• He tries to convince her that her trying to dance with him earlier was a handshake making the deal she offered him earlier
• She offers to free both if he gives her something of his
• Time seems to have stopped while having this conversation
• She hands him a three page contract, there are two pictures
• He signs the contract, and she incinerates the two contracts of the dwarves
• He thinks that she wants one of the paintings he made
• She flies back to the carpet
• Sylword pulls the Anti-Magic disk out of the bag of holding
• He also tries to follow Scribes' example and Banish Erin
• He also banishes the three fanatics in the ice
• He crits when targetting Erin!
• She flickers in and out of existance
• "Please stop him. Please, don't let me become this"
• The holy wind dies down
• The monsterous celestial seems to have lost a lot of power
• Coty casts Cone of Cold on The Herald and the banana book
• Erin flickers back into existense (breaking a 7th level crit spell somehow :/ ), but the cultists are still banished
• Void jumps over to the light bridge, he then casts Hold Monster on the celestial
• Dark chains appear out of small portals, wrapping around the wings of The Herald
• The Herald addresses Erin, as her face appears on it's body
• "This isn't what I wanted. Void, please, stop me"
• During Scribes' downtime enchantment research, she found out that souls can be controlled, moved and used for power
• Transportation requires power from the soul
• Void goes up to the celestial, and tries to physically pull Erin out
• Empusia flies over with a meaningful smile
• "Would you like a deal?"
• He tells Erin: "Don't worry, I'm here. You're safe now. Everything will be alright."
• Void clutches the inscribed pendant that he found when he found Erin
• He tries to move his own soul into it, to make room for her soul in his own body
• Light explodes out of The Herald, as the symbols on every surface lift and swirl into a holy wind
• Everyone is blinded except Sylword and Coty
• Erin grasps his hand, and he pulls her out
• She realises too late what he has done, and her soul enters his body
• "Take care of ___ for me" are Void's last words before he enters the pendant
• The Herald says "We were so close", before disintegrating(?) into dust
• There's light coming from the pendant in Void's hand, as his body slowly starts to transform
• He is transforming into Erin
• A short high-elven girl with long flaxon colored hair
• 145 cm tall
• Pale skin
• She's now wearing Voids very loose-fitting leather armor
• She's on her knees, sobbing and clutching the pendant
• The hole to the material plane has closed
• Empusia looks amused and relieved
• Sylword hugs Erin, to make sure she doesn't fall
• He shouts to Bucket to get the dwarves and Glør from the other room
• Coty moves to the map and casts Dispel Magic on it to try to save her step-mother's soul
• The soul unthethers from the map, and the swirly, silvery soul takes the shape of a high-elf
• She's looking at Coty with pride and arrogance
• Coty explains that she set her free
• "So you're useful for something. Free is a strange thing to say in hell."
• Coty will present her pokeball pendant as a way to get the stepmother out
• The pendant draws in the soul and the map
• Empusia twitches at the sight, but doesn't stop it
• Bucket runs to get the dwarves and Glør
• Vistrida Thorne is terrified
• He hauls the egg onto Bastian
• Scribes casts Magic Missile on the two remaining soul vessels, breaking them and releasing the souls
• The souls hover over to her, keeping their distance from Empusia
• One dwarf from the carpet comes over, and the dragonborn
• Coty comes over with the pendant, but it doesn't work for these new souls
• Sylword runs to grab the banana book, while the cultists are banished
• The cultists come back after he gets it, and leaves in anger
• Empusia stops them, pulling three threads towards them, and ripping them out of the platform
• She puts them in a bag, to use for future paintings
• She tells Bucket that he owes her a deeply personal depiction of his struggles to become king
• She mentions his name: Nibbles Chestnut
• Bucket gets her to let Scribes look over the contract, as his lawyer
• It states what she just asked for
• To be showcased in her collection for eternity
• Deadline to be set later by empusia
• You renounce all power in this deal
• If you breach the contract, your soul is forfeit
• Sylwords contract says that he owes her a small favour to be done at Empusia's convenience

• Our plan for getting out of hell is to use Word of Recall (6 people), with the rest of the people in the bag of holding during the teleportation

• We shove people and souls into the bag of holding, and Sylword recites "Remember the promise of family"
• A voice of truth emminates in his mind: "Follow for spring. The endless awaits"
• We appear in Veilhearth
• Bucket notices a soft wind with rusteling leaves circling him
• He finds a golden nut in his pocket
• But there is no ping from it -> It's a fake?
• He keeps it anyway
• He feels proud, and like his honor has been recouperated when holding the nut
• We pull people out of the bag of holding
• Erin is silently crying

Retcon: Whenever Bucket was close to E, there was a ping in his head

Plan

WE LEVEL UP!!!!!!! None of us have started the process yet, except Sylword

Any save Scribes fails will be an automatic nat 1

• Scribes is stiffer and more robotic because she lost some humanity (Cha points)
• We have to figure out if the sacrifices are permanent, or will go away
• We must protect the silver dragon egg (it likes cold) - It has also been magically altered somehow -> Should give it to Desa
• Get the dwarves home
• Get the two souls back to their bodies
• Coty might want to figure out how to deal with her two pokemon parents

• We need to check up on the desert temple excavation
• Craft the tuning fork for the material plane
• Scribes should decode the infernal books (contains spells) - She has as many as can fit in her backpack
• Sylword can cast Locate Object on the knife that was left on the other side of the Lorladon portal
• Scribes want's to save the last familiar
• Scribes needs to read up on what pranks are, and think of one to prank Sylword and Bucket back. Since they told her to
• Learn the new spells: Aquired but unlearned spells
• Scribes needs to talk to Coty about what happened with Lorladon (Coty wants to assemble her voodoo dolls first)
• We should turn Custodian Auren over to the Path of Hill, claiming that we held him while we investigated his crime of impersonating the Emperor
