• We are part of a group called The Forerunners
• Secretive
• The word of peace, calm, justice or support
• Supports you in your need
• Lightens your pain
• Will help you when you need it the most, as long as you spread the word (?)
• More people follow the word than you think
• People who doesn't follow the word, doesn't care too much about it. (religion is normal)
• The word is spreading among the refugees
• Not everyone who follows the word is a Forerunner
• We have heard of each other, but doesn't know each other
• Liouwi "Stormguard" Kaluthea (Me): Once killed someone in a tavern for saying something seemingly innocent.
• Kairon Oedrica (Marius, tiefling): I am out for revenge, a person killed my most beloved one
• Faoci Ezocrap (Mats, gnome): awkward diviner who occasionally grows paranoid seemingly randomly
• Mission: Recruit likely candidates for the forerunners
• Area: not safe, but doesn't seem to be planning to capture us
• Have been allowed into this small dungeon complex owned by a Lord
• An event about to happen
• Don't know what kind
• To get to it, we've gone through his mansion
• Magic shop
• In Oldtown in Tidehaven
• Gotten items, supposed to give them to the recruits
• Mats: tree branch dipped in wax (candle)
• Karion: tiny water-damaged book labeled "The Word. On the embrace"
• Stormguard: A set of dark wooden pipes/flute. If you blow it, it emanates a calming sound.
• Have been promised support if successful
• Some of the guards are friends of the Forerunners
• Tiefling who follows us in
• Most of the guards are  red half-orcs
• Kairon is 'sneaking' around
• Guard is vague when Stormguard tries to ask where the event is happening
• Just says it will happen soon
• Faoci opens random doors and finds a little hafling girl
• Weapons on a table
• Barrels etc.
• Girl was writing something
• Asks him to sit down in the entrance area and wait for the event
• Kairon creepily tells a guard that he has beautiful eyes
• Awkward, but flattered?
• Kairon pretends to drink, but Stormguard actually does it.
• A bell rings and they bring two people into a room down the hall (one man with possible giant blood, tiny female elf (possibly a child))
• We are lead in too
• The halfling and the guard joins us
• Fat rich noble
• Hooded guy
• Female human in a cape, greying hair, official looking
• Food on table
• Smells of dried blood and sweat
• Blood on floor, partially scrubbed off
• People in centre facing each other
• Karion starts talking to the hooded figure
• Tries to introduce himself
• The figure does a symbol with his hands and folds them under his robe
• Faoci recognize the sigil as symbol of a new religion spreading in Tidehaven (symbol of the Lady)
• Kairon and Stormguard get 1 and 3 respectively
• Does not speak
• Kairon quickly moves on to the noble
• Ulyssial Brombeck (?)
• He responds heartily
• Asks if he's here for the betting
• Karion lies 'yes'
• Head of the Bloomsdale(?) merchant company
• Kairon keeps flattering him
• Ulyssial: hopes it will be a great competition
• The safest bet is the large man (in Ulyssial's opinion)
• He's never seen them before. Must be refugees
• Easier to find gladiator material among the refugees
• Faoci nervously peeks around the corner
• Guard says nothing will happen to him, only a fight amongst the __
• Stormguard sits next to the halfling
• Gives a nod of greeting
• A bet of 2 gp
• Kairon bets on the girl
• The giant threatens the girl, she goes pale
• Seeing this Stormguard decides not to bet
• Faoci does not bet
• The hooded guy bet on the girl, and the rest on the guy
• The fight
• The girl keeps dodging, Kairon gives her bardic inspiration
• She tries to attack, but gets too close and the giant grabs her
• Twists her arm (breaks?)
• She is crying, he goes 'Submit'
• Tries to crush her, but she grabs his foot and the air in the room changes
• The magic users feels something clawing at their consciousness
• Stormguard feels the ancestral guardians rise in defence
• The giant stops, his eyes bulge
• The girl takes the previously broken arm to claw up his leg
• Hear a howl in the distance as she rips up his ribcage
• More ethereal and magic that physical manifestation (not werewolf)
• She starts eating him
• The others in the room acts like nothing unusual is happening
• The guards toss a net over the girl and drags her out
• She comes too and begs for someone to save her
• Faoci jumps under a table
• Rewards for winners
• Food, partners, family taken care of. As long as they fight
• New combatants come in
• Old couple who has been together for 40 years (humans)
• Scarred, has been in many fights
• Eyeing each other with sad, but calculating eyes
• Bet is now 4 gp
• Kairon bets on the lady, but no other pc
• They start fighting
• The man gets the upper hand
• The hooded figure raises his bet on the man, and shows Kairon the symbol of the lady
• The woman gets in a good hit, and gets the man in a choke hold
• The man in the hood raises his bet again
• Kairon raises too
• The woman looks towards Ulyssial, he nods, and she chockes her husband to death
• The hooded tells Kairon: "All in service of the Lady, may it ___ you and the word" (?)
• "You either bet or you fight. Those are the rules"
• New combatants
• Two gnomes. Clad in workmans-clothing
• Seem to be fresh from the road
• "New recruits, excellent. I love these. Captain what is their story?"
• The Halfling responds
• They ran out of money. Are bitter rivals, so is also fighting for each others possessions
• Bet starts at 1 gp
• Kairon and Faoci bets on top one, Stormguard on bottom one (just rolled d2's
• Both middle aged, gaunt, been through a lot
• Fight starts
• Bad at fighting
• They eventually get exhausted, tries to give up, but the noble tells his guards to kill them
• Stormguard intervenes. No honour in killing people who has already given up
• Faoci hides but shouts "The word does not condone mindless violence"
• Stormguard strikes down one guard (the follower of the word, ops…) and misses on the other
• Kairon tries to jump over the halfling and hold a dagger to the noble's throat
• She smashes him into the wall. "Stay out of this. Know your place"
• Faoci suggest to the noble that they should bet on this new fight
• Ulyssial bets 10 gp on the guards
• Faoci and Kairon bets on Stormguard
• Hooded man bets on Stormguard
• The woman uses one of the gladiators as a shield. Stormguard accidentialy kills(?) him, and then slices her.
• The merchant raises with 10 gp, and Kairon follows
•  Faoci walks out of the room
• Guards hit several times, but Stormguard takes little damage
• Stormguard strikes down the female guard.
• Ulyssial claps, and says it was a good fight

We have to stop here, but Stormguard would consider attacking the Lord. And wants to rescue the magical werewolf-like girl.
