20.09.2020 - Thunder - Manaths death and going to Yin

Marius wasn't here for most of the session

• Arnini returns
• Area around T and S catch fire from the fireball
• Lord Eaglewater whispers into M's ear
• "If you won't take your honour, I'll make you take it by destroying your friends"
• "Gilbert, destroy them if you must" (??)
• Losing the magical effects of his armour, Eaglewater is now normal sized
• M tries to alter their course, so they land where it will cause the most dmg
• Eaglewater lets him, and says "Thank you son, and forgive me"
• Both are impaled on a jagged rock (T sees this)
• T drags away from the fire, trying to convince the mage to save his master instead of going after T
• T sees C fall out of sight
• The archer hits A twice
• The knights starts clawing at their armour, eyes wild, then charges A
• The Diviner is looking intently up at Eagle Cliff, movements frantic
• He casts a spell, but T doesn't see the effects
• The whispers of temptation gets louder, we can now hear what they're saying
• Each get an offer, then the whispers dissipate with a loud boom on the cliffs
• T gets the offer of her sisters location. (which she already knows, Niels says it's up to us to interpret it)
• An inky black darkness now sits on top of the cliffs
• T manages to stabilize S
• T sees the blood drain from the mage's face, as he is now frightened. Still looking at the blackness by the cliffs
• The offers are repeated
• T tries to get it to clarify, but it just repeats the same offer
• Mats is now playing one of the knights, they're a Tiefling warlock
• They shoot two eldritch blasts at the other knight, killing him
• The dying knight mutters "Brother" in disbelief
• The offers are repeated again
• The archer slaps the mage out of his stupor
• The mage states that "the prophecy is being broken"
• A starts running to where he saw T last, shouting "Thunder, where are you?"
• The mage orders the archer to come with him to hunt down T, A and S
• Mats' knight shoots a chaos bolt at the mage
• The offers are repeated
• Archer asks the Diviner what to do, he tells her that "The vow might be broken. Take him down" (about the knight Mats is now playing)
• The offers are repeated, with one addition (He never sent me anything more… So I guess no addition? Addition to S)
• We reach the hut, T tells A to get S up, then enters the hut
• T shakes the crone awake
• Calls herself Pot, doesn't say anything else when asked who she was before Pot
• T tries to convince her to teleport them to Hugo Sha
• She tries to get T to leash her (T has a leash)
• "I'm dangerous"
• Says she is able to teleport them there in theory, but it's not accurate
• A Cures Wound on S
• A clumsily tries to tell S that M is dead
• He gives up, tells him where M is, and goes into the hut
• The Diviner reads Mats' thoughts, learns why he's fighting them, and runs away
• Offers gets repeated "last chance, for the last time"
• T tries to convince S to come back
• This reveals to Sarmo that M is dead, she freaks out and starts shaking T. Trying to get her to bring her to M
• The offer gets repeated (even though last time was last?)
• S goes to beat up the Diviner (on his way to M)
• Pot refuses to listen to T without the leash
• The Diviner casts something on S that banishes him into a maze (w/o save, 8th lvl)
• Mats finally kills the archer
• S has been in the maze before, so he is able to find his way out. Appearing where he was
• T leashes the crone
• Pot visibly relaxes
• T feels her emotions and some surface thoughts through the bracelet she is now wearing
• The Diviner casts Ice Storm on the hut
• T avoids dmg, but the rest takes some dmg
• Pot is down
• The offer repeats
• S goes to strike down the Diviner instead of going to M
• When S pushes him to the ground, he hears whispers "Yesss, strike him down. End him"
• T shoots the Diviner, killing him
• She hears whispers "yesss, well done" as if they're speaking into her ears from behind
• The diviner's last breath is spent talking to Mats "The prophecy, you must. The crone"
• S and Sarmo take off running towards M
• S tries to climb up the spike, to get M down
• S tries to cast Cure Wounds on him. The sides of the hole in his chest are sealed, but the hole remains (It doesn't recreate organs etc.
• "The pact is sealed" A figure from the shadows takes over Sarmo's body
• She is slack, but aware. Slightly different voice from before
• S: "What pact? Give him back now"
• "You will get to talk to him"
• The spirit of M rises from his body
• Tries to comfort S
• Heartfelt moment
• The spirit eventually fades
• Mats approaches the hut, dropping his weapons when T aims at him with her bow
• A vouches for him
• He introduces himself as Void (for now)
• The Green Eagles was useful for him, but now that Bastion is dead, he thinks the eagles are over
• Thinks he can be useful to us
• A tries to convince T to search for Coty before we leave
• T argues that the darkness on the cliffs is still there, and that there might not be time
• S carries M with him, taking Remorse with him
• Lays him down in the middle of the forest fire
• Strikes Remorse into the ground, like a banner
• Slight prayer "Divided we fall, but united we will always stand"
• Backs away, making sure to catch the sight of M's ashes fly away
• Then he heads to the hut
• As he leaves, he hears the sound of a hammer on an anvil, 3 times.
• The fire seems more powerful, and more controlled
• Eventually it dies down, revealing ashes swirling around the still standing Remorse, and into the heavens
• Remorse has changed, new colours and scriptures. Infused(?) with the essence of M
• S brings it with him
• Sarmo is approaching S with an animal in her arms, still dead expression
• Smirks "I think this is yours". Holding a baby seal with tattoos (Marius)
• Void says he knows what he darkness is
• They had a certain oath, one they used to borrow the power of an imprisoned demon.
• With the oath broken, he doesn't think it's imprisoned anymore
• The innocent in the area might be in danger
• T talks to Pot
• She refuses to give her name before Pot
• But agrees to take T to Hogo Sha
• S wants us to go talk to the spirit of Bastion
• Void thinks there is time
• T asks if the others want to join her in Hogo Sha
• They all agree (Coty is not in a position to talk now)
• S tries to set up a rule with A: "If you're travelling with us, your things will travel 10 ft behind us"
• T notices the seal with tattoos like Coty
• T knows of a teleportation in Yin (Where she was captured)
• Pot knows of a circle near the Bay of Sharks
• Thinks it is safe to rest there
• Our chest is still in Tidehaven
• S gathers his stuff from the Diviner
• We go to the bay of sharks
• (Void doesn't pick up his weapons from the ground before leaving)
• We appear in the small ruin of a tower
