(Asgeir had to leave pretty early)

• The painting room
  • The previous paint room seems like it was for beginners compared to this one for advanced students
  • Bucket recognizes some of these paintings as incomplete and warped studies of famous paintings
  • The characters seem haunted, hunted or fiendish
  • Coty is in one of them, being hunted by a large, dark, shadowy wolf-like creature. Four times her size
  • As we watch, the painting shifts
  • "Assignement: Capture your soul on canvas"
  • There are four phantom painters, actively working on the paintings. One of them working on Coty's painting
  • On Bucket's suggestion, Scribes tries to alter Coty's painting, by painting a cage around the wolf, s door in front of Coty, and making Coty happier
  • Bucket tries to convince the painter to let Scribes take over
  • He starts roasting his skills, and says that Scribes is so good that her painting started walking
  • The painter tries to refuse, saying that he has spent two years on this masterpiece
  • Bucket keeps roasting him, until he agrees to step aside if we don't tell the master painter
  • Scribes goes to work, and the painter is impressed
  • We notice that there are unholy runes covering the easels, some of them pulsating as if alive
  • Void and Bucket looks through the paintings, searching for any dwarves
    • Void sees a small table with small canvases. One of which has a small sketch of a portrait
    • All of the paintings seem to include a small portrait, but none of the others see it
    • Bucket sees a battle scene of squarrians against orks. It's only a copy of the one in Bucket's room in Veilhearth
    • Some of the orks seem very dwarf-like
    • They are wearing hoods, and seems out of place, like a painter's self-insert
    • One of the portraits Void sees, looks like a monster ripping someone to pieces to the rest of us
    • Scribes finishes adding some finishing touches to Coty's painting: An elaborate ice staff, a cape, a little seal companion
    • Coty finishes stepping through the door in slow motion, and appears in the room with Scribes' add-ons (Including the seal companion)
    • Ulutiu's Judgement has now been transformed to the staff
    • Coty warns us not to pick up crayons, as she got transported into her own painting, which then changed to this one
    • Scribes uses her See Invisibility Monocle again, revealing a life-size portrait of E
    • 
    • She also sees invisible two invisible doors and a staircase
    • Scribes goes to draw doors for the dwarves, but is stopped by a painter. Bucket convinces him to let Scribes improve his painting (that he has been working on for 29 years). As long as we don't tell Master Sabazios of his flaws
    • The Master has the painter's soul. You have to graduate to talk to him
    • The painter sees his painting as a portrait of himself, like Void sees it
    • A massive minotaur is lying like a french girl, on a sofa
    • Scribes paints a door
    • As she does so, she gets a bad feeling that she is doing something very mean
    • The door starts looking more like a portal, with red ominous light, seeming to feed on the feeling. It becomes stronger the more she paints
    • The others (including Void) sees the glowing green portal, that seems to influence the rest of the painting
    • The painter tries to politely stop her, and she manages to break free of the drawing trance
    • The portal seems to symbolize Scribes' understanding of rudeness
    • As we're talking, some of the orks seems to be dragged through the portal, but don't reappear
    • Scribes and Bucket manages to intimidate the painter to paint over the portal
    • He eventually does, but not before one of the dwarves gets sucked through
    • He throws black over the entire painting, but Scribes prestidigitation's clean the dwarf area
    • Scribes instead draws bedise the canvas, to draws the continuation of the scene. Void sees it as a continuation of the portrait
    • She paints the squarrian side of the room, with a door that leads to a tiny version of this room
    • As she's drawing, she gets into another painting trance, absentmindedly painting a portrait of herself, hanging on by the door
    • The portrait is a stiff and robotic version of her, sitting in De Mowbray's tea room. She's being extremely polite
• Meanwhile, Coty has been given a pencil and paper, and is sketching the party, Lorladon and her mean step mother as a big, happy family
  • The more she draws on it, the more life-like it becomes
  • Coty starts struggling to differentiate it from reality, and becomes entranced in the process
  • A spectral painter comes over and suggests painting a streak of black over Coty's face
• Void recognizes a flower garland(?) worn by a spectral painter, that is Erin's
  • The painter is rude to him, because he's a non-artist commoner
  • Void smokes a Charm Person cigar, and he changes his tune
  • He got it from helping out a fellow student
  • He then lost his soul, after that
  • The student was a female elf named Erin
  • She eventually graduated with flying colours
  • The painter recommends asking Master Sebastious by graduating
• Bucket starts drawing a self-portrait too, of himself without his armour
  • 
• A spectral painter tries to convince Scribes to add red anger to her portrait
• She disagrees, and ploymorphs it into a squarrian when he tries to paint it by force
• Bucket runs to the rescue, grabbing him and throwing him at a wall
• All the painters turn towards Bucket in anger ~Roll initiative~
  • Coty starts out with a bang, by Cone of Cold'ing three of the four painters, wrecking the paintings on the walls
  • In return, she is hit with Scathing Critique, which crit fails
  • Another painter thinks the critique is about him

 

Plan

  Save Coty and the two dwarves (Bucket's honor depends on it)   Look for clues about Void's sister, and a way to stop his tattoo from taking over     ---------------------------------   Sylword can cast Locate Object on the knife that was left on the other side of the Lorladon portal.   Scribes needs to read up on what pranks are, and think of one to prank Sylword and Bucket back. Since they told her to.   Learn the new spells: Aquired but unlearned spells   Scribes needs to talk to Coty about what happened with Lorladon (Coty wants to assemble her voodoo dolls first)   We should turn Custodian Auren over to the Path of Hill, claiming that we held him while we investigated his crime of impersonating the Emperor
