  • We know we're heading into a dungeon/crypt
  • We've been hired by a new Forerunner contact
  • Sarathim (?) The Younger
  • Looks like an army man
  • Wants us to retrieve an heirloom that would help their cause
  • Willing to pay well (gold or glory, up to us)
  • We start the session having already explored most of the dungeon
  • 4 locations left
  • Brewery
  • The forgotten forge
  • The whispering crypt
  • The tomb of the sacred squid
  • We're fairly certain this is the correct place
  • The way in is blocked, requires magical gems of passing to open
  • The forge
  • Two side rooms, mostly empty
  • Finds a secret hallway leading into a room with a duergar
  •  Tries to convince him that we're peaceful
  • He says his leader has a gem of passing
  • Dromguard (?)
  • Will take us there (He seems suspicious, and has his hand on his weapon)
  • Leads us into a warehouse(?) with two other duergar inspecting the goods
  • Daisy tries to steal a weapon
  • Leads us into the forge
  • Reveals that he is the leader
  • Proposes a deal for the gem
  • Wants us to get rid of an evil green hag living in the brewery
  • On the other side of the forge is a heavy door made of adamantium
  • They're bent, as if something tries to get through from the other side
  • The leader reveals it was done by a demon
  • The brewery
  • Very clean hallways (I'm suspicious of a gelatinous cube)
  • We tries to open the doors, and activate a Lightning Bolt Trap
  • Faoci casts reduce on the door
  • Opens into a large hexagonal chamber with 4 kettles (containing 3 duergar?)
  • There is a green hag and two flesh golems
  • She has been chased away by the people in Tidehaven, so she has to do her experiments here
  • She asks for 6 humanoid hearts, preferably get rid of the duergar
  • When we ask, she agrees that she might leave the duergar alone if they don't harass her
  • Daisy wants to try a potion
  • Perfume billows out of her ears
  • Asks for another
  • Buys an Alchemist Fire
  • Gives us a codeword to get back in
  • Nalfeshnee
  • The crypt
  • Wooden table with candles, seem to be new and they don't seem to melt
  • They are made out of silver, with the initials S.E.
  • We go through one of the doors
  • Hallway, with same type of table with candles
  • See room with several sarcophagi
  • Looks human/half-elf like
  • Stormguard doesn't like the idea of grave robbing, important to respect the dead
  • Daisy opens one. (South east, in case the initials referred to that)
  • She is instantly attacked
  • 4 Shadows appear + 2 from other room
  • They are difficult to dmg, but normal weapons
  • When they hit, they deal necrotic dmg and reduce strength
  • Landor summons two swarms of piranhas, hoping they will bite on before falling to the ground
  • ------- They do not
  • We take a short rest in the previous room
  • We regain hit points through hit dice, and regained the lost strength
  • At the end of the rest, we're attacked by 8 Shadows
  • We decide to run
  • Stormguard is surrounded, but doesn't disengage, so she can shapeshift into hybrid form and pick up Faoci on the way out
  • Faoci kills 4 on our way out
  • Landor summons a spirit manatee (gives temp hp.)
  • Stormguard rages, but loses control at the end of the round
  • She quickly regain control, but not before biting Faoci (saves for lycanthropy)
  • Landor and Daisy loot the catacombs
  • Daisy tries to destroy the remains
  • Landor snuffs out the candles
  • The others decide that we should go through the door with garlic and an iron bar
  • It's a hallway ending in an iron door, barred
  • Two stone sarcophagi stands on the sides, a big sarcophagus is in the centre alcove, covered in garlic
  • To female vampire spawn(?) come out of the side ones, asks for our help in freeing their master Lord Sergei Endegor(??)
  • Their master is powerful and will grant us a great boon for helping him
  • The others decide to free him (Stormguard says that she won't stop them)
  • Landor opens it, to see a pale vampire, seemingly paralyzed by the wooden stake in his heart
  • Daisy removes the stake and he immediately
  • Thanks us a lot
  • Will give Landor and Daisy invulnerability
  • Landor says no, so gives it to Stormguard
  • Both Daisy and Stormguard doesn't really need it, so he gives it to Faoci as well
  • Stormguard gets him to promise to never prey on any goliaths, or do any trickery etc. to get them on his side (ok if they join him of their free will tho)
  • He wants us to bring him the duergar captain alive, and will give us a gem of passing for it
  • (Think we will go fight the dwarves)

 

 

 

Plan: Get the duergar captain to the vampire lord alive, get the gems of both the captain and the vampire. if one of them doesn't have a gem, get it from the hag (Probably by giving her the hearts of duergar)
