• The fanatics start looking for the exit for us
• We keep following the right wall
• Void sees a reflection that is half what he looks like now, and half what he looked like as a human
• The human part is gray and gaunt, with his hair falling out, unlike how he actually looked
• It looks like it's speaking to him, but with no sound coming out
• The human part doesn't follow his movements
• It disappears when he shakes his head
• As Coty walks around a corner she sees a reflection of hers that moves slightly off, with Coty's usual frost melted on her clothing
• Her skin is zombie-like, wet and covered in blue fire
• Bucket sees the smirking version of himself from earlier
• The drawn smirk moves in stop motion
• As Void passes another corner, buth the Coty and Bucket reflections dash ahead of him
• One of the preachers appears at the end of our procession
• He offers to help if we give a small prayer to the Saviour
• They have found something valuable, that's time sensitive
• Sylword asks some questions about their religion, getting mostly vague answers
• The saviour is saving them from their excrutiating existance
• Sylword accepts, and the preacher starts leading a prayer
• He warns us: "You're about to head into an ambush, just so you know :)"
• Sylword get's Blessed
• Void suddenly gets attacked by Bucket's reflection, breaking out of the wall
• He seems to be made out of ice crystals
• Sylword casts Heat Metal on him, causing double dmg
• Parts of him crack off and fall to the ground
• Thargnak rushes in after, dealing a decent hit. "This is easy, let's dogpile it"
• Coty's reflection attacks Sylword from behind, doing a lot of damage and giving disadvantage on attacks
• Scribes misses a fire Witch Bolt, and Fractured Bucket
• Bucket gets the final hit on Fractured Bucket
• As he does, he feels his own attacks being more effective towards it
• The creature felt quite fragile, and might have been easier to break if we did it in a different way
• Void runs after Fractured Coty, carving through her with Green Flame Blade
• It is very effective
• But there is something about the reflection that seems to speak to his core being
• It's speaking to him with images and visions
• He could sacrifice something that's part of his core (two points from an ability stat), to destroy the Coty reflection
• Fractured Scribes appears and brings Glør down to 1 hp, and Bastion down to 0
• Fractured Sylword also appears, all his knives and equipment are rusted
• He misses Coty
• Sylword attacks fake-Scribes
• He gets a vision of har falling into a million pieces if he gives up two ability points
• Thargnak gives up two int points to outright kill Sylword
• Coty casts Mass Cure Wounds, and runs directly up to Fractured Scribes
• Bucket tells Glør to run away, to outside the AOE range
• Scribes kills the fake Scribes with Magnify Gravity
• Bucket runs up to help Void, while Void misses all of his Eldritch Blasts
• Sylword finishes fakse-Coty off with a Sacred Flame
• As we discuss stopping for a short rest, another fanatic appears. He looks injured
• He says that the Saviour has blessed them with the path forward
• They have eliminated some enemies
• He wants us to pray with his to find the exit
• Sylword refuses to give his name, but participates in the prayer
• The prayer mentions that the celestial is trapped by some horrible little girl
• They will answer Scribes about who that is if she prays with them
• She and Void does
• The reliquary traps their saviour, they must smash it to free him
• Scribes knows that it's basically only Liches that use reliquaries
• However, reliquary is another word for container/vessel, which is used by other creatures
• E.g. Genies and lamps
• It might have been trapped by someone else
• Bucket casts Prayer of Healing to give us a Short Rest in 10 min
• He specifically prays to Rillifain, and not The Saviour
• Sylword asks about the girl again
• There are now three of them
• They try to get him to pray with them
• The fanatics mention piercing the heart of the reliquary. Also mentioning "the cracks of light"
• We follow the fanatics to the center they found
• It contains an ice art piece, looking like an egg nestled in a nest
• On the floor are shattered crystals, like the result of the reflections we fought
• Because of the Wand of Temperature Control, the room is warm, and the ice around slightly melts
• The egg looks very similar to Desa's dragon egg, just larger
• There are no signs of a dragon living here
• The fanatics wants us to stab the egg to get free
• Scribes knows that dragons way of tending to their eggs tend to be based on their type
• Desa (silver) will occationally freeze her egg, to hurry the process
• Coty notices that the egg seems to be magically altered somehow
• Void notices transmutation magic on the egg
• Scribes turns off the Wand of Temparature Control, and Coty shoots the egg with a Ray of Frost
• Ice spreads over the egg
• It starts shaking
• Rays of Light starts coming from under the egg
• Sylword puts his face into one of the light cracks
• He sees an area full of books
• Bucket uses his Divine Sense. Everything around us is desecrated
• But there is a conflict. Something is locally countering the desecration
• Sylword starts lightly hitting the ice, not directly under the egg
• He is able to detach some ice spikes, making the glowing area bigger
• Sylword goes through the light
• He lands softly in a cozy chair
• It is an endless library, that somehow feels a bit ominous and oppressing
• There are even books in the ceiling, as the shelves arch towards the center at the top
• He sees a group of chairs, and a warm glow from some lamps
• It smells of food
• He doesn't see the way back anymore, and we can't hear him (but he can hear us)
• The egg would fit in Scribes magical chests, but we have too much in there to fit it
• We debate using a 7th lvl spell to summon a celestial to carry the egg
• Bucket tries to lift the egg, but barely manages to get it off the ground
• He moves it out of the nest, while Thargnak smashes the nest
• E (Empusia)'s face appears in the egg, looking horrified
• We leave through the hole, bringing the egg with us
• We all land softly in comfy chairs in the library
• We hear humming from the lit area
• Bucket summons Bastian, and we tie the egg securely to his saddle
• As we work, we start to feel hungrier and hungrier
• Scribes also feels it, but doesn't realize what it is. She is worried that she has been hurt somehow
• She uses her last charge of her monocle to See Invisibility
• Scribes immediately starts flipping through books, laying out books for her awakened spellbook as well, to double the reading efficiency
• Bucket and Void "stealth" towards the light (Bucket is clanking loudly)
• The light area is the only not-desecrated area
• They see the lady we saw as a ghost in the concert hall. She's sitting in a chair and spinning yarn
• Bucket immediately retreats to tell the group what he saw
• All the books are blank
• Void confirms that it is divination, necrotic and conjuration magic
• Scribes is able to use a separate parchment to transfer the indentation over
• It is in common, but seems like non-sense
• She might be able to decode it with a lot of time
• It seems to describe a spell
• She grabs as many books as she can can carry, both in her backpack, and in the magic chest
• We approach the spinstress
• Her yarn is glittering and otherwordly
• One of the tables holds a bowl of freshly baked cookies
• There's a statue of a dancing dwarf
• IT LOOKS LIKE THE MISSING DWARF
• She welcomes us. She talks about "The Wheel of Time", and offeres us some cookies

Plan

REMEMBER: Void has Nondetection for 8 hours, Scribes' spellbook is summoned (to read)

We must protect the silver dragon egg (it likes cold) - It has also been magically altered somehow

Look for clues about Void's sister

Save the last dwarf that we accidentially sent to Hell (Bucket's honor depends on it)

Scribes needs to read up on what pranks are, and think of one to prank Sylword and Bucket back. Since they told her to.

We should turn Custodian Auren over to the Path of Hill, claiming that we held him while we investigated his crime of impersonating the Emperor
