Seb is joining us as the character Nortle the Tortle, n ot to be confused with Nortle the Ninja Tortle

• Stormguard insists that the surviving gladiator is freed. Ulyssial reluctantly agrees
• Kairon gets his profits
• We take a break from the fighting to drink and 'calm our nerves'
• Kairon gets the key from the dead female guard and steals a guard's shadow
• Stormguard asks Kairon to heal the gladiator, which he does
• She informs him that she can connect him to people who will keep him safe, and teach him about the word. Also promises protection while he's with her. Asks him to follow
• We enter the locked room
• A female tortle cleric is healing the old woman
• The guards there seem to be guarding the tortle and the old woman at the same time
• One of them are holding a dagger
• Kairon convinces them he's just the guard taking us back to cells
• Then casts Hypnotic Pattern on the room (including guards, Tortle and old lady)
• Convinces them that he needs to take the tortle and the lady as well
• Stormguard carries them both
• We og into a hallway with a row of cells
• The cells have solid doors, but a hatch for food
• Kairon drops the Hypnotic Pattern, and Nortle wakes up
• Faoci gets a vision
• Kairon gives Nortle his reqruitment item
• The book is signed by LA
• Kairon starts opening cell doors
• One filled with torture devices
• Also a bucket filled with red/green liquid
• One with a guy (half-elf)
• Not moving, not responding
• Thin and malnourished
• He is dead
• Next has a beautiful human-like person with red hair, leathery wings and a tail
• He is bleeding, and it's dousing the straw on the floor
• The same liquid as in the bucket
• Multiple cuts and incisions on him
• Bruises etc.
• Kairon heals him, and reveals that he's not actually a guard
• The man says he will follow him anywhere
• Stormguard tells Kairon to stop flirting and open the next door
• Faoci is reexamining the torture room, and casts Detect Thoughts on the winged man (not hiding it)
• The man is thinking how he can get out, with Kairons help. How to survive etc.
• Man introduces himself as Salmorin(?), when Faoci asks what happened
• Reads that he was summoned magically. Then tortured for a long time
• He is disgusted that they took his blood, and hates that Faoci is probing.
• Loves Kairon and wants his soul
• Attemps to cast charm on Faoci, but fails
• Next is the magical "werewolf" girl
• Skittish sound from inside
• Kairon tries to calm her
• She growls
• Stormguard pulls out the flute she got, and Kairon and Nortle also pull out instruments
• A calming sensation emminates from the flute
• The girl slowly calms and curls down for a nap
• Salmorin(?) pushes Faoci into the wall and dashes into the hallway
• Stormguard gently picks up the girl
• Nortle and Stormguard checks out the final room here
• Nortle sees a tiefling through the food chute
• We put the carried people on the floor to break open the door
• The guard wakes up
• She's asking for "The proof"
• Doesn't react to the flute
• But snatches the tree branch from Faoci, when he presents it to her
• Uses it to heal herself
• Stormguard hands Nortle the old lady, and carries the child
• Kairon convinces the guard to go back to sleep
• Salmorin(?) starts flying to gain speed
• Kairon tells the guards in the other room to catch him
• (to prevent them seeing the rest of the prisoners)
• When we rush into the room with stairs, we're met with two guards waiting for us. They're using the table as cover against us
• Every atk on their surprise turn fails (the only target they could see was Faoci
• Nortle drops the old lady to fight
• Kairon casts Mayor Image of his real apparance, and shouts (as a guard), "Look behind you. There's a rogue!"
• They are fooled
• Stormguard calmly puts the girl down, rages and storms them
• More guards arrive
• Kairon's image is revealed to be an illusion
• Faoci casts Grease on the people in front of Stormguard
• Nortle casts Spititual Weapon and Toll the Dead
• Kairon lets og of his disguise and stabs the guard in the back, killing him
• Fighting happens, Kairon gets hurt, Faoci kills a guy by Stormguard w/Fire Bolt
• Nortle heals Kairon
• Stormguard kills one heavily armored guy, and goes to help Kairon flank
• Spirit shield blocks some of Kairon's dmg
• Later Stormguard nullifies all dmg to Kairon on the enemies turn
• Nortle finishes the last guy with Spiritual Weapon
• Stormguard stops Faoci from running ahead, and goes to get the rest of the prisoners
• Nortle heals Kairon again (he tried to hide his injuries)
• Kairon scouts for enemies
• Faoci casts Locate Object on the incubus's choker. It's moving east
• Kairon spots two guards, but uses bas signs to tell us…
• Uses Sleep on them. One of them falls asleep
• Then casts Invisibility on himself, and sneaks past them
• Nnow sees the halfling lady from before
• They are waiting to ambush
• Stormguard asks the first gladiator to carry the girl, and to stay back until she says it's safe
• The halfling peeks, and we see eachother
• Nortle gently puts the old lady down
• Stormguard let's Faoci og, goes a bit forward and goes into hybrid form
• The halfling sees, and looks stressed
• Nortle and Kairon talk a bit, and Nortle gives Kairon a rope, which he takes with him onto the roof
• The halfling climbs the roof and pulls out a crossbow, triggering Nortle's Guiding Bolt
• The guards rush Stormguard
• Faoci (running backwards) is shot by a hidden person (with some kind of poison)
• Faoci runs back, and casts enlarge on Stormguard
• Nortle instakills one guard with Sacred Flame
• Giant Stormguard kills a guard by stepping on him, then confronts the halfling
• Kairon realizes his plan won't work anymore, drops the rope and
• The assasin shoots Stormguard for A LOT of dmg (Uses Stone's Endurance to reduce it fortunately)
• Stormguard turns full bear to get immunity
• The halfing realizes her atks have no effect, and run away
• "Who the fuck invited a werebear!?"
• Nortle and Faoci goes over to Stormguard as she nearly loses control
• The assasin notices Kairon when he get's too close
• Nortle heals Stormguard
• Huge Bear Stormguard climb the roof to the assassin
• While she is away, the halfling moves up to atk Faoci
• Faoci drops Invisibility to cast Enhance Ability (Cat's Grace), to charge the assassin and push him off of the roof with him
• Kairon lands on top of him, and is stabbed by the assassin right after, going unconscious from the poison
• Faoci Tidal Waves to get the halfling off of him and escape
• Stormguard climbs down and gently picks Kairon up and starts moving to Nortle
• The halfling crits Nortle
• Stormguard reaches Nortle, jumps off the wall to try to hit the halfling, but she dodges out of the way (Crit)
• Halfling hurts Nortle more, he is now really hurt
• Nortle, with Faoci's Portent, kills the halfling with Toll the Dead
• Then casts Mass Healing Word
• Stormguard gently places Kairon on the ground, and climb back to the assassin
• Kairon heals himself
• Nortle is running away
• The assassin does A LOT of poison dmg, bringing Stormguard down to 1 hp…
• Stormguard attempts to pick him up and throw him, chucking him 60 ft.
• Kairon tells the gladiators to stay close to the wall and start running
• The assassin climbs back up, and Storm tries to yeet him again, but he dodges. She makes a final claw attack, determined to go down swinging
• He manages to climb back up, and KO the Huge bear
• Then using Stormguard's unconscious body as cover
• He is plucking out a few hairs from her fur
• Faoci drops the Enlarge spell, and casts Fly on Nortle
• Nortle flies to Stormguard and heals her
• She gets of a good crit on her claw attack ^^ He is now pretty hurt
• Kairon gets the gladiators to the gate, and opens it
• The assassin runs away
• As Faoci and Kairon open the gate, the guard tries to stop them, but is convinced to leave by Kairon and 10 gp
• Nortle gets the final blow on the assassin, with Toll the Dead
• We all escape alive
• (Btw. The guard outside the gate has been pretending not to notice anything, as he is not paid enough for this)
• Stormguard gives the magical not-werewolf the pipes when she wakes up
