Culture

The Slayers care little for external politics, it matters little who rules what to a Slayer. With these they believe themselves above the reach of Kings or Nobles that would demand anything form them. Slayer’s interactions with the outside world are often limited to hunting contracts, taking jobs from anyone who offers. They follow the laws and customs of the lands they’re in as much as possible, treating local customs with respect as they travel through them. Part of this is due to the proud nobility of the Slayers, and part of this is due to business interest, as Slayers who cause trouble and break laws often are less likely to get repeat clients.

Public Agenda

Slayers are known for their love of coin and everlasing search for the next hunt.

Foreign Relations

The Slayers tend to stay out of politics entirely. It matters little who rules what, as the Slayers are confined to Strongaxe keep, and care very little for external politics. Slayer’s interactions with the outside world are limited to hunting contracts, taking jobs from anyone who offers. Not only do the Slayers want little to do with politics, but politicians want little to do with the Slayers, as taking actions against the Order would prove detrimental. Strongaxe keep is built into the side of a mountain, populated by unbelievably strong warriors. While the Slayers lack the numbers to march on a kingdom, they certainly have the numbers to make an army reel against the impregnable walls of Strongaxe Keep.
The Slayers are quite proud, and as such believe they are above the reach of any kings or nobles who would demand anything from them. In their Keep, the Slayers feel invincible, and if a noble came to the gate and demanded tribute or loyalty, they would be laughed at and dismissed. Were said noble to press his luck against the Slayers, he would be putting his health in jeopardy.
While travelling, Slayers follow the laws and customs of the lands they’re in as much as possible, treating local customs with respect as they travel through them. Part of this is due to the proud nobility of the Slayers, and part of this is due to business interest, as Slayers who cause trouble and break laws often are less likely to get repeat clients.
