Vasileios
Even with a quick glace, one would see the wealth and glory of Vasileios. The banners of gold and purple hanging in the streets and the gargoyles on the rooftops are especially well known features of the city. One should however not forget that the beauty came from blood.
Demographics
The city mainly houses humans, though the army has quite a few of the sturdier races such as dwarves and orcs in their ranks.
Government
The city is run by a king or queen with a great many minor nobles often serving in a managerial or advisory role.
Defences
The most powerful defenses are their walls from which evokers stand ready to rain down fire as well as the army that is camped around the city in barracks in such a way that they can be quickly mobilized.
Infrastructure
The most distinct piece of infrastructure is the Victor's Court. This of course is the ancestral castle of the Kyrios family named after the many victories of Areti Kyrios.
Districts
There are many districts within the city, but one can quickly figure out that the powerful areas are in the southwest, near the Victor's Court, while the poorer areas of the city are generally found in the north. There are of course also the many barracks that can be found surrounding the outside of the city.
Assets
Vasileios is one of the wealthier of the Free Cities, much of it coming from them plundering the other Free Cites as well the Kingdom of Thenniden.
Points of interest
The two most prominent points within the city are the Victor's Court and the University of Strife. The former is the resplendent court of the Kyrios family, adorned with treasures and imagery of their former rulers, particularly Areti Kyrios, and the latter is the foremost place for spellcasters who seek to learn how to best be efficient in an army setting as well as in a fight generally.
Architecture
The city used quite a lot of stone with scant wooden houses to be found anywhere. One might also notice the many gargoyles adorning the city, some of which are even rumored to be animated and protecting the people of the city.
Geography
The city is located on a rather flat plain with little to see on the horizon but grassland and the road.
