My dear friend, I hope this series of letters and documents finds you in good health. Last we met you seemed unsure about whether to become a slave owner or not. I know not if your doubt was due to financial benefits or your own morality. If indeed the latter, then allow me to try and compel you into why such activity is not only a good decision but one that holds high moral standards as well.
Since joining the slaving business, I have spoken to many slaves who have said that this system has saved their life. Before, the only other alternative was to simply accept their status in our society, the system that has been added now allows them help. This help will enable them to rise above their measly status. Many see that it’s not much different than working. For one to be paid, they must do the labor. One is allowed to either work for their freedom or to pay their way out. I see no difference with working for a job. The slave system even provides adequate housing and meals.
Concerning Nidinia’s approach to slavery, I can assure you that it is entirely legal. I will admit that the legalization of such thing has caused an unhealthy spike in pirate attacks, and others who believe that they can simply capture others and sell them. But what other way shall we get our slaves? I will be lying and wasting your time, and mine, if I was to say that slavery didn’t also have downfalls. But I assure you, my friend, there are far more positives than negatives here. Again, I have included letters and documents from slave owners, slaves, and government officials to further back up my claims.
