DWARF - The Dwarven Diaspora

After the emergence of dwarves in the world from deep under the ground, it was obvious the surface races would be quickly overwhelmed by their weapons and greed. The Family Above struck the dwarves down and ruined their mountain empires, which remain cursed to this day. Some dwarves retreated back under the earth and have not been seen since the days of old. A million theories exist about where they went and what they've been doing all this time. Those dwarves who did not run underground faced their punishments, becoming wandering refugees spread across all of Iyallow, and in generations, forgiven and adopted by the Family as one of the true peoples of the world. Today, dwarven enclaves can be found in nearly every city, where their industrious nature has helped them become more than simply miners and blacksmiths.
