Keeper of the Seven Fires, The Reliable Flame, The Flame of Duty

Deity of Fire, Reliability, and Responsibility.   Zerathis is represented by a key with fiery fingers entwined around it or a large blue diamond, which signifies purity and steadfastness, as well as seven blue diamonds arranged in a circle with a central flame.   The worshippers of Zerathis light seven sacred flames in his name. Zerathis' priests bless keys and locks after forging as symbols of responsibility and trust. Some more extreme devotees handle scorpions, an animal aslo connected to Zerathis, to prove their reliability and courage.   Zerathian doctrine focuses on control of such a dangerous element as fire, and teach that with responsibility it becomes a force of progress and protection, but the destructive potential is never far away.   Zerathian clerics obviously train to control fire, but also learn the art of lockpicking and key crafting as a symbol of solving challenges. Some have the power to unlock or lock any door. They are protected against fire and venom.   The fire temples have scorpion motifs and sculptures to signify vigilance and protection. The rooms are decorated with intricate locks and keys. And seven eternal flames that burning in the central sanctum. The seven blessed blue diamonds are worn by the high priests.
