Myranna
The Dream Dancer, The Mouse Whisperer, Guardian of Dreamscapes, The Unamused, the High Dream
Goddess of Movement, Daydreaming, and Dance.
Myranna is represented by a black and white checkered dance floor and a dancer mid-twirl with streams of undrinkable water flowing around her. More concealed symbols include a mountain reflected upside down in a pool of water as demonstration of false realities. Myranna's favored animals are mice, for their agility and subtlety, and it is custom to feed them berries to placate this capricious deity.
As one could expect, worshipping Myranna involves dance rituals on checkered surfaces to connect with the deity. Peculiar twist on those are Reversal ceremonies where participants perform movements backward to gain insight.
Clerics of Myranna achieve mastery of various dance forms, with an emphasis on improvisation and fluidity. They practice heightened emotional awareness and expression by learning the art of daydreaming to explore inner landscapes and creativity. They are master performers able to inspire, enthrall, and influence emotions in others. They also have the power to enter and navigate daydreams and inner visions. It is rumored that through their mastery of probabilities and being attuned tot he flow of reality, they are granted the ability to reverse minor events or perceptions - a knowledge coming from the fabled Reversal Scrolls.
Some temples to the High Dream, as she is also known, are built on mountainsides or high places to symbolize reaching for dreams. The dreamer's berries are grown in the shrines - when consumed, they allow the eater to enter a profound daydream state. They feature large open spaces for movement and pools of undrinkable water as focal points for meditation and reflection. There is a legend about a singular Reflective Pool - a body of undrinkable water that shows visions of possible futures and hidden truths, but makes the seekers lost and trapped in it forever, since they are unable to distinguish dream from reality and slip away into eternal dance to nothingness.
