Mairead was ambitious, intelligent, and direct.
Mairead was 49 at the peak of her career in 275. Born in Agheenthum (in 226) in the miners caste, as a young child she took advantage of the education reform designed to promote and improve the castes. After 266, the industry came under pressure to supply the resources to Ageenthum's new partners, although many geologists saw it as squandering natural wealth for the benefit of another nation. It took Mairead years to develop the viable breeds and perfect the mutations and enhancements, and also convince the ruling castes of the potential to the technology. In 275 it all came to resouding success as the output of the pilot mines increased manifold. Mairead gained the respect and council of the rulers and set her eyes on enhancing and scaling up the technology.
