Letters Regarding Kaylin
A Letter to Master Ainsley
Ixtaril, 5th day of Aetherean, 81 Human Era
Master Ainsley, I am concerned about your wellbeing. Its been nearly a full season since we received word from you, and I have sent several messenger hawks to you. They have either returned empty handed or have not returned at all. The academy requires an update on the status of the young sorcerer Kaylin. This is the last messenger hawk I will be sending. If we do not receive any word from you, it will be assumed that you and your team have died and military force will be used to recover the sorcerer if they are still alive. I await word, Headmaster LirasielA Letter to Headmaster Lirasiel

Headmaster, My platoon has reached Marren's Eve. There's been no sign of the Seekers, Master Ainsley, or the sorcerer in question. Upon investigation of the village, we found the entire population of Marren's Eve deceased. None of the bodies has a single mark on them to indicate cause of death, but they are clearly months old. This is not a new development. We will continue our search for the sorcerer and report in every two days, as ordered. Captain Longfoot, 24th Stormrider platoonA Letter to Headmaster Lirasiel
Adumil, 23rd day of Aetherean, 81 Human Era
Headmaster, I've located the body of Master Ainsley, may he rest in Ixtar's eternal embrace. Similar to the bodies we found in the village, there are no marks on his body to indicate cause of death. Ma'am, my platoon was made aware that we were searching for a potentially dangerous sorcerer, but no further information was given. We are not prepared to deal with an aether sorcerer; we do not have the proper equipment. Please advise how to proceed or if equipment can be brought to our location. Please... we have to get out of here. The voices... I can't get away. The sorcerer must be close... I can't think straight. My mind aches. We'll never find them...A Letter to Anjaril Longfoot

Mrs. Anjaril Longfoot, It is with heavy heart that I enclose to you the first payment of your husband's pension. Know that he served his kingdom, and the academies, with honor and bravery. I know these words feel empty in his absence, but you have the condolences of the academy, and my personal condolences. Should you ever have need of anything, please contact me personally and I shall ensure that you and your children are cared for. Thank you and your family for your service. Headmaster Lirasiel
