The Chronicles of the Itharia: Session Twenty-one

After defeating the demonic orcs, the party investigated the other sarcophagi where the demons had been waiting, finding that the other undamaged sarcophagi likely contained a human and a goliath. the damaged one contained an orc that had a strange burn an ichor on his chest. As the party proceeded around the ruins they found one that was empty, but contained a book out lining the presence of a dragon gate that the writer accidentally destroyed. They also seemed to find the origin of the orc demon, a sarcophagi broken from the inside with strange burns and ichor on the underside the of the lid. The party questioned Erma more and further found her confusing. Rhy used he ghostly gaze to inside Erma's chest, discovering an emerald, similar in size to the ruby the party recent looted, and journal inside. The party rested in cave Erma has been staying in. While the party slept Lee had a dream where the purple dragon spoke to him. She named herself Saransina, the Night Eye. She said she had been trapped by Caleroh and Maranath, and that she had a hand in the creation of the dragon gates. She thinks finding either Caleroh and Maranath is the best way to free her. She also notes the strangeness of the plane and plane shifting effects came after she came to the plane and that she could easily solve it if she was free. During his watch Lee finally opened the puzzle box he bought from the earth elemental in The Living Caverns and found a ring inside. Lee then went through Erma’s chest and upon reading her journal, found her weak attempt to hide that she found a connection between the Snowbreakers and the Monks of Ile.   He also discussed her dream with Theren for a short while.
