The Chronicles of the Itharia: Session Fifty-eight

After  the battle the party spread out. Theren investigated the giant corpses and talked to the crew members about gods and Grestien. Two mentioned praying to Melora for safe travel but its hard to expect safe travel on the seas around Nowch. They also didn't seem to care much about Grestien considering it just a potentially makes believe sea monster from the east coach of Nowch. Rhy went to the front of the ship and contemplated reaching out to Sasnia.  Ranrus  converted the giants armor into ingot and left them for the crew before taking a well needed rest. Theren and Rhy caught up with each others going on especially Theren's whereabout the last night they were in Snowbright.   at the front of the boat Tholly who had been watching the sea quietly moved over and asked her how her first experience on a boat was going. Upon hearing her connection to Spearadear and the nature of her Aasiamr nature he related with his own strange hereditary back ground,  so far as " not knowing who slept with who". He offered to take her closer to the moon. Tholly removed his coat and a set of large copper dragon wings magically emerged from his back. He took Rhy up into the air  where he silent viewed the horizon. Rhy finally reached out to Sasnia and the two made amends. Sasnia reminding Rhy that they wished they could tell her everything both things they knew and didn't. They also expressed a very protective concern over if Auna had hurt her. after descending Tholly went about performing captains duties.    the party gathered for dinner, where they discussed what Ranrus and Theren would do after the twins joined the Guild. Ranrus seem likely to study under Ogden while Theren was considering exploring Nowch. they also discussed Rhy's flight. Rhy mentioned Tholly owed her a drink and Theren was interested in both Tholly's knowledge of dragons and  the nature of his wings. the two made their way to his quarters where  they drank and talked. Tholly asked why they were headed to Ironhead  and upon hearing it was to save the world expressed understanding having done it himself. They discussed Theren becoming a draconic blood line sorcerer and his own back ground, how he persuade to blue dragon to leave the boat alone. They talked at length about Cassiopeia and how Tholly didn't know how to trust her or what her motivations really were and most importantly that he had not slept with her as he was comfortable with  how it antithetical her behavior was to that of a normal succubus. Rhy reached out to Sasnia and asked if they new, Sasnia said they would see what they could see. He explained his first run in with Mammon and his hatred of him. Mammon had put him in a cage and he'd been told he couldn't kill him and now Tholly was determined to prove him wrong. The changes to plane shifting and how it was no longer hard to leave, which seemed to cause Tholly some concern. This prompted Tholly to encourage them to take the drinks on deck and enjoy the night air.   During this time Lee approached Gronco, realizing Gronco was truly not interested in men  and managing to convince Gronco to explain  the crew strange reaction to "Found family" eventually learning Tholly had a biological daughter Abigail, who was stolen from him by the fae and  and returned and adult, one who quickly left via plane shift and was now on Nowch. While Tholly wanted her to join the crew and be presumably a family she had a very different interaction when they met in a port and she seemingly prayed them out to see. Lee also learnt the same fae had turned Tholly "first child" a tree  person born from a magic seed into the ship. Gronco made clear it was dangerous to bring up children with Tholly and that Tholly had hair trigger anger towards the fae (likely greater fae based on the presence of a flumph crew member and no reaction to Pip).   On deck Tholly asked to speak with Theren. He told them they could benefit from talking to Maranath, as tholly put it "Maranath like Draconom, Dargoth, Gorim, Caleroh, Disiga, Tenara, Sithala, Kirit, Maranath, Haunthera". The only hint he gave them was the same one Maranath gave him 10 days after he arrived on the plane, "the library above the Clouds". after pasing that along Tholly went back to Rhy and asked apologized for being rude and expressed if he could tell her something helpful about the moon he would, but all he new about the moon was it big an round "and very w=very beautiful just like her" and upon realizing he said that allowed walked swiftly to his quarter. Rhy followed and calm cool and collected watched from the door way and Tholly talked to himself, repeatedly trying to figure out what he was doing. Rhy told him a was pretty too and after  short pause Tholly asked if she wanted another drink and Rhy closed the door to the cabin and the world faded to black.   Date: 25th of Gorim
