The Chronicles of the Itharia, The Murder Mansion: Session Thirty-eight

The party resting from their battle with the arcanaforged titan we're about to settle down for a long rest when Rhy asked Theren and ranrus about why/how they came to Ithica. She prodded Ranrus more eventually revealed she was trying to determine if he was the Eberonian Instigator, a person from eberon dangerously spreading influence on Ithica. She made clear she's be given an order to kill this individual but she doesn't believe Ranrus is them. During their sleep Lee and Rhy both dream and were visited.   In the morning Theren was curious about what gods are supposed to be on ithica, which Lee didn't really know how to answer. Theren revealed they had spoken with you while they were dead, she mentioned gods' chosen. Ranrus cast sending and reached out to Alison Wilson about how to handle Eragis. She suggested that if they could fix planeshifting they should and if Eragis was evil should just kill him. Ranrus reached out to his god and asked simple question, "was freeing Eragis good or bad for Ithica?" the answer was both.   The party went to the mirror and Rhy performed the ritual to turn the mirror from a window to a door. What emerged was not a regular elf but a four armed, 14 ft tall Elf headed creature wielding a massive sword and a massive tail, whipping about behind. Eragis's voice deepened as his lungs filled with air. He took his position to guard just as he agreed. Theren asked him to tell stories and told them about all the delicacies he's eaten across the planes, the hunts he ad to go on to collect the food, and how he cooked them. when the door closed Eragis prepared to leave. But just before he left, Lee asked if he could free a Sarinsina from her trapped disk. He took the disk and carved into it with his claw. The room got extremely cold and eventually a purple mist came out of the disk and saransina appeared in the room with them. She and Eragis had a stare down and and Eragis took a step back. Saransina suggested he leave, and he planeshifted away.   Date: the 12 and 13th of Gorim
