Chronicles of the Realm Walkers: Session 47

The Realm Walkers returned to Rhy's room with Abigail where they began an exchange of information. In there back and forth Abigail and party mostly confirmed that they new similar things. Abigail expressed her interest in the Dragons was founded in their difference between Ithica and other planes. The party learnt that Ioun didn't seem to interfere with Abigail or have concern over her cageyness around knowledge, which she explained to be concerns over what people might do with it. She also didn't seem to concerned with or pressured by Ioun to do something about the Chosen of Vecna. She clarified for the party that the Dragon soul stones contained prayers, prayer that were in and of themselves divine or radiant energy. The group confirmed the existence of the King of the Dragons, with Abigail pulling to get more information from the party without really giving them much they didn't already know. Over all she still seemed hesitant or resistant to talking openly with them. The Realm Walkers shared their discovery that it appeared Giants predate the Gods. She informed the party that the oldest texts on the plane are Draconic and some of the earliest texts are Human texts. She also let the party know that in the library there wasn't just Drow architecture, but Dwarven, and Giant as well.   Rhy mentioned Ammorna and her Giant research and learnt Abigail had also met and spoke with her. Abigail tried to prod specifics out of Rhy who asked her to go first. Abigail replied "You're very pretty but you can't just get whatever you want." This prompted, at least for Abigail, a very strange response from Rhy where Abigail appeared to presume she'd crossed a line with her flirtations where as Rhy was just disturbed by the awkwardness relating to Abigail and Tholly. Rhy started to explain and Lee in panic spoke over her until Abagail spoke up, assuming they were having some sort of personal spat.   Theren cut in a asked about the nature of Gods on the plane, and Abigail explained she knew as much as she was allowed but was not forthcoming.   Rhy returned to Ammorna's research. They finally coaxed the knowledge of the rings made for the King of the Dragons. She implied Caleroh had one and when the party was not excited by the fact that one of ten secret artifacts made for the King of the Dragons was not in his possession she was bit dumb founded. Theren assumed the other rings were with each of his "lieutenants" to which Abigail realized they knew about the Kings Court and was exasperated as she was having to assume the party didn't know things before she could tell them anything. Theren made clear they cared about the Dragons and were wary of Abigail's intentions.   Lee questioned this interest as seeming beyond scholarly interest. Abigail explained she was raised to always seek out knowledge and learn everything she could. The group finally concluded they were all trying to do the same thing, determine what the others knew before sharing potentially dangerous information.   As the discussion turned back to Caleroh and the resent happenings there, Rhy let slip the at Theren had slept with him, which peaked a different part of Abigail's interest. This led to discussion of Theren's nature as a Dragon.   Abigail transitioned to discussing Yua, and expressed that Yua according to historical texts had performed more miracles then all the other gods combined and heavily involved, and her presence only on ithica. The party taught her the term First God which she noted. They also discussed Yua's "father".   Abigail was critical of Rhy restraint in her curiosity when it came to seeking out the King of the Dragons. which led to a rather stressed conversation around the dangers of seeking him out and seeking knowledge as a response to danger rather then to prevent danger. Abigail seemed mostly confused by Rhy's connection to Ioun and clearly different personal definitions of the noun "Academic".   Lee found Abigail's interpretation of Ioun and her teachings as off, not impossible, but it seemed off.   Abigail let the party know she was raised by Tariel . In response Lee let Abigail know they knew Tariel was an Archfey and that turned the conversation back to Tholly and her wariness with party and their connection to the Wand Slinger. The party updated her on Tholly's recent happening to which she showed no interest in.   They returned to talking about Desmond, and his Interest in Yua. Theren ended up informing Abigail about the tuning fork from Yua and that being the subject of Desmond interest. the party made moves as food arrived during this conversation to nonchalantly prepare them selves as Abigail expressed a desire to get Desmond to tell her where the King was by giving him information he needed.   The party was informed of the location of two Gold Dragon Soul Stones: one in a set ruins that moved and one in Ithasia. She also explained the giants had created several structures that moved with some sort of mechanism, most if not all of which appeared to be broken. This particular set of Giants ruins were found in the Mintar Desert and moved based on the season: south in summer, east in autumn, west in spring, and north in winter. The ruin had a sandstone obelisk that protruded from he desert near its entrance and that at night all these ruins had an unnatural glow.   Having finally answered a question Theren offered Abigail an answer to a question of her own. Abigail asked about Theren becoming a Dragon. She was interested if Theren could turn into a Dragon and the nature of how they were a "Dragon". Theren tried to change and had some slight growth in their scales. Abigail noted at 28 years of age, Theren would be much younger then a Dragon would need to be to take a Human form.   Abigail when approached with the idea that Yua might have made other people into Dragons before Theren, decided to let the Realm Walkers know she had found in one text a phrase, that she surmised from her best attempt at translating, described Yua as godmother to the King of the Dragons.   Rhy decided in further act of good faith to reveal to Abigail the cover Bolo's Journals and Journeys: Volume III. to which Abigail asked if they had any pages. As they pondered Theren realized they had found the cover while in Maple Swamp, during the mission where they killed the Gnolls who worked for the man who kept sending assassins' after them and maybe that was why he kept sending assassins.   Abigail gave Rhy a sheet of paper, that she believe belonged in the book. Looking at it Rhy thought it might be one of the cards, but she discovered another piece of paper describing in crude and highly detailed sexual narrative about her. With this realization they produced several similar pages. As each are brought to the spine of the cover there was a flash of light. When the light dimmed the page was bound to the spine and had turned blank.   Abigail quickly explained the contents of the page she had managed to translate,(she repeatedly cast high level dispel magics on the page to temporarily suppress the illusion covering the page in smut changing it to the original text). Abigail's page described an event where Bolo met with someone she believed to be the King of the Dragons and a Giant King who tried to kill him and the giant ceased existing. This was different then an effect like Ul'Matar Abigail assured them.   Abigail took a moment and expressed how happy she was to have met them since, they were like minded, fascinating people, with wealth's of knowledge. Ranrus took this opportunity to ask her to take a look at the book they had found on Mavrin that identified just as the word "wish". During the examination of the book it came to light that Theren/Realm walkers had a Maranath Flower. Abigail immediately tried to find something to give or trade for the flower to which Theren pointed to information on the Gold Elementia armor but the rest of the party intervened and made clear it would require group consensus before they parted with it. Abigail made clear she would ask it where the King of the Dragons was, and she would share that with the Realm Walkers.   Ranrus returned the focus to the book and eventually unlocked it with the key he had found in Mavrin's portable hole. Inside was a beautiful hand written book of poetry. Inside placed liek a book mark on a poem about Yua, they found the Wish card. Reading the book further the poems became dark, deranged, malicious, and eventually devolved into he raving demands of an angry immortal.   The party to continue to discuss the Maranath flower before Abigail redirected the conversion via innuendo to sleeping with Theren. Rhy likely seeing through the thinly veiled attempt to be alone with Theren, interjected sweeping away the innuendo and being blunt about Abigail desire to sleep with a Dragon. Things quickly became tense as Abigail bluntly retorted that Aasimar and twins were technically also on her list. The two got more and more standoffish with their back and forth until it culminated with Rhy stating she was into her father and Abigail responding with how she "didn't realize you were into imaginary things." Abigail said goodbye and started to leave before she stopped and made the suggestion to the group that in future if they knew intimate details about a person it would best not to tell that person those detail before they knew all their names.   She left the room and Lee followed to try and try to do some amount of damage control only to be faced with the restrained anger of a Chosen. Abigail calmly addressed lee "I'm not sure what your experiences with chosen have been like so far, but it would be best to remember, if I wanted your sister gone she would be." Lee made further attempts to diffuse the situation. Abigail still parted her silent anger only slightly calmed. she stopped and called back. "The Titan's, I've found at least one reference that their were seven, not six." and she continued on.   Returning to the others Lee tried to express the danger of the situation and the issue with referring to Tholly as "father". Things escalated as emotions were high. The tension of the situation boiled over and Rhy asked for everyone to leave. Outside the other tried to process and take a step back and access but parted ways returning to their rooms.   Date: Late evening of the 18th of Sithala, 1437 DC
