Chronicles of the Realm Walkers: Session 44

The Realm Walkers were back into the book store where the walls and ceiling seemed to be shrinking. whilke Ranrus and Rhy were physically fine laying in crumbled masses were lee and therne, dead. Ranrus gave rhy who was cradling Lee and went to Theren where they both immidialty began to cast revify.   Theren and Lee on the other hand were in a space very familiar to Theren, a black expsanse with no sens of up or down or pressure. where they heard the childish giggle of a little girl.   Lee saw theren and asked where they were see their calm. Theren informed lee they were dead as a sense of gravity returned and Yua took lee's hand to bring him some sense of comfort.   Yua was surprised by Lee and therne being the ones who had died. yua made clear she was ok with cheating but the Jester was the one who made the rules. She explained that she had made the book, gave it some rules, and left the jester (one of her planetar) to guard it.   Theren butted in asking if Yua hade made them a dragon. Yua did not answer but instead displayed her abiltiy to invert by turning her hand. a moment that had occured the first time therne had been here before sending them back to the material plane   she also explained that she did not dislike the dragons, but the that the dragons they'd met, but for some of them their mother or father didn't like Yua. Some Gods simply don't like her.   Lee asked if Yua had a chosen and theren answered, for her, informing him that she could become her champion is theren killed them. Lee asked to be told her chosen's identity and after promising to keep it secret with some divinty added into make sure he couldn't she spoke into Lee mind the name.   Theren asked Yua about the Titans. Whylie yua had spoken to theren before they left rasephars plane she seemed notcomletely aware of where rasephar had sent them. she explained. that she and the titans had been friends, " Playinging together, buying stuffed animals, having picnics and tea parties." eventually the god arrived and they got into a fight " feelings were hurt" and the gods trapped the Titans in the ground. Yua went on further to punish them beyond just trapping them she " made fun toy to remeber the games they used to play" showing the box that appeared to tb ethe same box theren has.   Theren asked about how to tune tuning forks to places you weren't and she was hurt at the idea that theren wanted to go somewhere where Yua wasn't. therne was worried about after life and Yua's offerenad then did bring The raven Queen to them.   Theren asked the rq about how to control where someone went in death and to protect them from torture. the ravens queens asnwer was not satisfatory. she told theren that she simply guided souls to where they wanted to go or were destined to go and did not take "morality" into consideration.   the raven queen turned to lee and said it was nice to see him again. This was a shock to Lee. the rq just turned to Yua and asked if that was all.   Lee responded confused and rq looked at him strangely and quietly said, i thinki've made a mistake before starting to leave. lee ask who he remnded her of and shaswered "you remind me of you" before pulling away completely. a statment that Lee felt was discomfortingly honest. Even Yua looked confused.   Yua began to prepare the two to leave when lee suggested theren get a fork tuned to Yua's plane. after a discussion yua tuned a fork to her plain in exchange for a "dept". The two started to feel a warmth inside as Yua could not hold them any longer without some one getting mad at her "maybe dad". and the two took harsh breath of real air, therir souls returned to their bodies.   As Lee took his breath, Rhy pulled him in tight and told him to neverdo that again.   Ranrus healed theren and then tried to regenerate lee who refused, so Ranrus healed him normally. The Realm walkers gathered themselve. Theren informed the party they'd met yua and the lee had "met the Raven queen again"   the gbegan to investigate teh shop now with teh danger passed and the owner disapeared. som form of abjuration magic seemed to be ferying away the books.   the twins went into the back room sseing th econtent that had been floaitn here. the alter and balck pool were stil present with its "broken" charms.   Theren worried they might not be a dragon any longer but examine thir scales still saw that the properties that Feln had pointed were still presnet.   Lee investigating the contents of the back found the largest chest full of skulls, one feline of which Theren tookand added to the bag. The second was full of furs, which Lee took two of the nicer ones.the last chest contained a notebook. That quickly turned ot to be a mimic. the mimic was quickly killed tunrin ginto a black sludge that tlsowly with much hinderance for rhy slowly crawled its way into the strange pool around the alter.   Lee investigated the sarcophagus and found carved into its edge"some walk in shadows, we walk where no one can say.". walking beyond shadows is somethign both lee reanrus had come acrros when researching Destanna Argwin.   Ranrus pushed open the lid. Inside was a headless skeleteon. Ranrus carefully search the body finding a new piece of the his blade and the fin belt or bandolier and retrieved both. they closed up the sarcophjagus and left the shop.   theren investigating th body was confident the skeleton must belong to the now missign shop keeper.   the party began to head back to the keep. ranrus broke of and emptyied the protable hole of its bones unseen into the lake.   back in his room ranrus set up his ritual to commun with onatar. and ascended to the space with his god   he asked for advice fighting eragis, and was told onatar had equiped him well enought to deal with such a threat. he was warned not to let Eragis bite him or Rhy, the god touched girl. Ranrus asked about the Peace maker and asked where he could get god silver. Onatar told him that his god touched friend could take him to valnar, the plan wher god silver resided. Ranrus asked about what had happened in the library. Onatar beleived it was Vecna, and that Vecna pushed the limits of the rules. Ranrus wondered why vecna was not punished only to learn vecna may be to powerfult o be punished the way onatar could of been, that the rules were not applied evenly. he salso explained as onatar had given ranrus fire, vecna has given his chosen secrets. Onatar gave ranrus an eternal flame to place in his reliquary. when ranrus returned to his body on the material plane he had the flame. he resting over top of a stone table where floated harmlessly awaiting itshom in the reliqury.   theren returned to their room to try to mediated but could not find their space and their rest. they went to Rhy's room and asked for the the twins. coming in theren explained their current confusion. theren didn't know how to sleep and rhy simply summoned theren over and the three curled up and fell asleep each processing the day s heavy events.   Theren dreamt fo the first time. they flew over Fron Tar over the lava fields and past a mountain range they'd never seen. on th eother side of which they saw wide grassy field.   Date: 17th of Sithala, 1437 DC
