General Summary
The Realm Walkers spoke to the two undead, claiming they had come learn. The humanoid undead told them they would have to trade life for knowledge. Theren, Lee, and Rhy each cut off one pinky finger and asked a question.
Who is Tamit?
"He is our Shepherd in Death."
What era are you from?
"We stand in opposition of the Gods." This question caused issues as the undead was clearly determined to give a fair answer for the price paid but didn't completely understand how to answer as he could not perceive time as the party did and resulted in the party learning more then they necessarily would.
What is the book?
"It is a gift to Tamit."
They also learned they were in Ilateth's Graveyard and the names of Bit'tun's armor, the words found mostly in Bolo's, were the names of six ancient Titans. Eventually the undead became suspicious that the party had been sent by "the first God". In response the Realm Walkers asked which Titan that was, to which the undead responded with a yell full of vitriol "Don't call the Titans Gods." Then the undead attacked.
Once the humanoid undead had fallen the larger undead spoke and engaged the party once again in conversation. He introduced himself as Ae-oh and explained Eff-Tea, the humanoid undead, "was a man out of time", though he often forgot that. He had concluded the Realm Walkers were as well. Ae-oh was more accommodating speaking with the party. He offered to let them read from the book, noting that reading it would come with its own payment. Lee opened the book and was instantly overwhelmed. He did manage to stay alive long enough to take in some of the information on the page. The text was disturbing descriptions of violence and torture. Even more disturbing was the writing was written is a way that the text drew a picture that visually depicted torture. The only specific words he was able to retain were "for Tamit I did".
Ae-Oh managed to discern that something was wrong with the situation and concluded that he was not real. This resulted in him being more open, agreeing to answering the Realm Walkers questions once they agreed to bring the remains of the Necromancer King (the king who had taken the book in the vision) to the real Ae-Oh in their time. He explained the book has power over all who have died and all who will ever die. The threat of the book was in its application. "It is not a sword but a plague. A device of time." He warned the party to not fear what it could do in the moment but what it allowed someone to do over time. Ae-Oh also made clear that the book was incomplete and not what they had intend to give as a gift to Tamit.
He also told the party about Titans. He made clear Yua and Ilateth were not "friends".
Xir is the Titan of Peace and Rage. She is unable to exist outside of chaos and calm.
Tamit is the Titan of Poison, Disease, and Death. Their blessing was The Plague, and those who survived it became their Champions
Varimus is the Titan of Nature and Weather. His domain was the Frost Forest.
Antrium is the Titan of Earth and Fire. She was the Mother of Volcanoes and many Giants worshiped her.
Ilateth was the Mother of Seas and Storms, and Grestien was her first Champion.
Syren is the Titan of Dreams and Imagination. They/She was a peaceful Titan who wreaked unimaginable havoc.
